This is not racism in the most literal sense (pertaining to race as such), just the belief that some cultures are inferior, just as ethnic racism is the belief that some ethnic groups are inferior.
I assert that this is the only valid and rational part in any racism, be it ethnic, racial or otherwise (because we cannot meaningfully define, say, ethnicity or race where it concerns behavior without relying on culture).
This is related to impossibility of multiculturalism, or if you want, the inherent limits of its extent.
I didn't RTFA, but as a full dual-boot system (NOT VM-based), this could be useful for me. I like to be able to work occasionally AND have access to a mature app ecosystem which we don't have for Windows so far (and may never have in the future). I wan't real dual-boot because an Android VM will be too resource-hungry compared to native Android.
Of course I didn't mean that super high res shouldn't exist. It's just sad to observe how we're getting breakthroughs at the high end but losing vertical screen estate for the mass produced laptops.
Screw super high res. Just give me laptops with resolution better than 1366 x 768 at 13" at least without the need to pay through the nose for this alleged "luxury".
Of course it's more difficult to get people to spend money when they know that their earnings won't be stolen from them through inflation as the time goes. But there's nothing bad at all in the fact that it's difficult. It's not that it should be easy. But zero inflation is indeed a viable and ethical alternative.
The "economy" is not entitled to anyone's money. What is people do with their own, already taxed money, is none of your business. If you want someone to spend money, the ethical thing is to offer them something valuable in exchange, not steal from them by printing money.
Those matters may well deserve to be made fun of depending on what is meant by "equal treatment". In case of race/gender quotas for employment etc. they definitely do.
Can Docker be used for distro-neutral application packaging on Linux? (May be a silly question, but I'm still not sure, even after reading TFA and comments.)

It's the same thing we've been doing in computers since, erm... the 80286 days.
Refreshingly, at this time, the novelty will be in the fact that it is NOT on the computer!
Are there any x86 Chromebooks? I need Windows for work.

Thank you, now found it.
Thanks!
Seriously.

If you want more screen real estate, buy another screen, not a bigger laptop.
This defeats the idea of a laptop, unless you mean buying and installing a replacement screen.
You seem to concentrate on anal phantasies too much. That's not healthy.
I guess you either replied to someone else or didn't use your reading comprehension skills to understand what I said.

Come on, that was sarcasm.
But it's guns that kill people, right? Ergo, we should count guns.
What's wrong with low-latency audio in Debian? Works for me in LMDE using jack.
Laws of nature are definitely sexist because they disallow women en masse something that men en masse are capable of.

Wow, the last Mohican outside of the Cyrillic sector!

I really appreciate a quick and dirty way to see PDFs
I dunno about Chrome, but the built-in viewer in Firefox is not quick at all. And documents look butt-ugly in it.
Do you mean Qt or wx?
...most Russians...
As a Russian, nope. Most Russians call the thing "Summer Time" and "Winter Time" (depending on the season).
It just happens, and then we get to know it was first and describe it in words implying time?
