Just so long as Google stamps out an iron-clad privacy policy where they don't frigging data mine everything on the pipes I'd give all my pipes to them in exchange for fast access (something along the lines of 10mb/10mb would be nice) and the ability to host my own servers.
Adelphia just recently started offering a 10mb package. In that case, SO LONG WINDOWS, hello java apps. I really think Google will jump on this, If Google was a monopolistic ISP, they would most likely open a whole new field of intelligent marketing, where advertising covers the cost of bringing the user their content.

IM would fit right in to thier new and improved Google Desktop,..
"Google's mission is to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful." I think an integrated Hello IM service would fit right in with their mission, to share photo's and exchange cheesy emotions with our convorsations to one another.

flash bios? can't you just pop out the lithium battery and stick a peice of metal on the two conductors to flash the bios?, or are we talking about somthing way more complex and over my head here?
I always hated how difficult they made it to organize music, upload/download music to your Ipod, even burning CD's was difficult to explain to a lamen....
I personally think it works efficiently, but about 3 years ago i gave up trying to explain the steps to someone like *my mom* on the phone. It supprises me how hard it is for the average person to navigate.
