So I won't buy it then. Fine!
Haven't bought any film or video in ages. Modern content just doesn't interest me enough. Think I've outgrown motion pictures. Can recall only a handful made in the last 10 years that I actually enjoyed watching on tv.
"Ask an attorney".
Why would you submit your kids to a government where you need legal assistance for a basic question? Or where you often need professional help just to do your taxes.
Neither do I. Don't miss it either. DVD showed me there's little to gain from buying official content. And the last few years there's extremely little content that I've enjoyed enough to even consider buying.
It's microsoft's interest to display adds. Microsoft's target audience has never heard of add blockers and all those technical things. They want an appliance.
At least that's always been Microsoft's attitude.
Keycards that are inserted in a slot in the dashboard or are kept in the driver's pocket have been available on cars on the European market for the last 10 years or so..
It seems to go with the territory of being a right wing quasi democracy. It usually takes a true democracy and a certain level of education of the voting population to get rid of the death penalty. Most of Europe reached that stage in the 1930s-1970s.
I don't really know how much $140/mmBtu is. I do know that if Americans complain it's still cheap to us Europeans and I also know that Americans tend to waste a lot due to poor insulation.
I don't know what you are blabbering about but all countries in Western Europe have free speech codified. Getting a search warrant here is more difficult as is showing up at someone's door with a SWAT team. And yes we're allowed to defend ourselves but not to the extent of having enough guns to fight a minor war
Also we don't refuse people because of a medical history. Probably because we actually welcome visitors.
I'd rather you'd keep your playground attitude of name calling to yourself.
Nuclear energy is, theoretically, clean and safe. However in practice it's proven to be far less so. An coal pollution will be greatly reduced in a few hunderd years. Radiation tends to stick around for a much longer time.
If we go into "I'd rather" mode. I'd rather see we stabilize our population growth and start taking our energy production seriously whereby effect on the planet is leading over quick profit. Let's see about hydrogen production that doesn't cost more energy than it delivers. Get battery technology sorted, see if we can do a good fuel cell but also see about cracking the fusion reactor puzzle.
From what I understand of your political system you'd need a lot of money to buy the lobbyists needed for this kind of change. Perhaps use one of those crowdfunded sites to get the funding?
First of all, the actual effect of your data hungry KGB is debatable.
Secondly, the EU is a lot less keen on annoying the muslim world than you guys are. We may be a slightly softer targer, we are a lot less attractive to the idiots.
Just like with pesticides that are known to wipe out bees, nothing will be done about this problem either. The corporate lobbyists own too many of your politicians.
For one that didn't include support for a patent troll. (or didn't have that silly slotradio option come to think of it)
Isn't it high time to stop dealing with the US market? It's insane legal system alone makes that a good option
Yes. That's what you, the American public, has wanted for years. You're getting it now. And since your people accepts all limits on your personal freedom if it's to make America safe for democracy and creates jobs.... well..... it's a Brave New World!

Funny that. I really dislike my Ford because it's loaded with disclaimers and mandatory safety bullshit from the American market.

Nothing in the news, no politicians feigning outrage towards the evil Americans... strange!

Up until now a lot of extra work has gone into making the money to pay for those labour saving devices in the first place.

No, the terrorists allowed your own paranoids to win because not enough of you fight back.
Interesting.. what would your country have looked like without the interstates?

Could all have been a loooong hazaa! As to this decision, Greenland was relatively unspoiled and few things spoil a country quicker than strip mining.
And there's some good hemp rope being made in Europe.

The "we don't care!" attitude has ruled US policy since.. 1950?
North America is NOT a major tourist destination for Europeans. It's a destination where people travel on business because they have to.
Ask the guys in the Guantanamo Gulag, perhaps they know

Hmm.. maybe. What he did was certainly brave but he was also fully aware of the possible consequences. I admire his bravery to do what he did though.
