from the indie artists who could otherwise get played.
Tell me how this is different from the "potential" sales that would have come from the pirates who download music. The money should go to the indie labels who lost many "potential" sales from the companies that make up the RIAA.
I see a niche market for support of OS/2 opening up for a while. You know not everyone has a plan available to transition to something else. And somebody can make some money on this.
Being the inventor of something does not necessarily mean that you made it the best. I have been pretty impressed with Google Suggest as an innovation to their search technology. http://www.google.com/webhp?complete=1&hl=en/
I think user defined categories such as the ones defined on some photo sites are the next thing in search technology though.
I see a lot of talk in this thread about outsourcing. Did you guys just completely forget about the dot com crash that was still happening at that time?
This will go away once there are games that take advantage of multiple processors. Eventually the game user will start to see the advantage of multiple processors. It's already starting to become clear when you look at the architectures of the next generation consoles.
I've been having problems with a java applet on IE. Every time the applet reloads in the web page the memory usage increases. Until it reaches 150mb or so then the applet can no longer load and error messages pop up.
I'm hoping this program will help me come up with a solution. I don't have access to the applet's source code. Ideally I would just leave the applet in place in a frame, but it doesn't seem to take the commands that it is supposed to take.
Has anyone else had trouble with memory and applets in IE?
Hahaha. Ok, this is true, but, you know what I mean. Making claims about being able to go as fast as a Ferrari with an electric motor don't mean much to me until they can win a race against a good driver over a long distance.
Schumacher needs to get off his ass this year. Very disappointing so far.
Is there someone out there who really wants an interpreted language based OS? How painfully slow would THAT be? Either.net or java is not fast enough for me to be the basis for an OS front end.

Where do you think you are? Slashdot. News for Nerds.

All it will take is for Blizzard to parse their logs to look for this. I'm hoping to see some accounts banned.
IBM should have made OS2 free about the same time that MS started giving away Internet Explorer for free.
Big deal. Airwolf did MACH 1 back in the 80's.

I'm glad that Slashdot pointed this out so that someone else can go register these names first.

I'll believe you when it beats Michael Schumacher.

Oh, nice. It was added in 1.4. Now I just need to know when I can actually use it. Lazy people need to upgrade their browsers more.
Give me a freakin try... catch block!
They just need to swing the Hubble around and make it a top notch spy satellite.
