No, no, no. I wasn't saying let the cheating students off. I'm saying he can't punish ME for OTHER people cheating.
There is no need to change the syllabus because of cheating. He simply needs to use the rules already in place to take care of it. Cheating is covered by, if not university wide, department wide rules.
This is the same problem that exists in most governments in the US today. They make NEW laws when all they really have to do is use the laws already in place.
Yes, the prof makes the syllabus. However, after it is published it cannot be changed. That's what I'm saying. If it could be, the prof could change class requirements half way through the term.
That's the way it was at my school and every other I've looked at.
I'm not sure how it works at UCF, but this professor is breaking many standard rules of any college I've ever seen.
1. You cannot punish a student if you have no proof they broke the rules.
2a. You cannot change the schedule of the class, especially exams, outside of what is on the syllabus.
2b. You cannot hold a student responsible for your own actions, ie changing the date of an exam and telling them they cannot miss it.
If he has PROOF of cheating, punish those responsible. However, if I was in that class, and was falsely accused of cheating or was being punished for OTHERS' cheating, HE would have a serious problem with the ethics board and the dean's office.
Please show me when the gas engine drives the wheels. The Volt is NOT a hybrid. It is driven ONLY by electric motors. It is exactly what GM says it is, an extended range electric.
whenever he saw me driving around town, follow me and pull me over for minor offenses such as speeding less than 5 mph over the posted limits.
While I see what you're saying, he was an asshole, all you have to do is not give him an opportunity to BE an asshole by following traffic laws. They aren't that hard to follow and, as a pet peeve of mine, not signaling, on a lane change or otherwise, is one of the most asshole things you can DO on a road. Nobody can read your mind so use the fucking signal.
A physical resistance is that last thing that happens when a people are being oppressed. Firearms give that ability to everyone. Our 1st Amendment, freedom of speech, for example, does absolutely nothing to stop government from being totalitarian. Our 2nd Amendment does.
I lived in rural areas as well, and I never felt threatened by anyone.
Using one assumption, that you've never been in a serious car wreck, I also assume that you don't wear a seat belt either? Just because you haven't needed it doesn't mean it's a good idea to not have it.
Personally, I don't care if you don't like, or want, guns. That's fine. Hell, the less you buy the more there are for me. Just don't tell me that *I* can't have them.
It isn't nuts to prepare for the next ban attempt. It has happened with quite some regularity that last few times we've had a democrat in the White House.
Because then you don't run the risk of it getting thrown out on the basis of filing in the wrong jurisdiction. It was interstate communications so it would be easily covered under a federal court's jurisdiction.
Then, since you contacted them to get off their spam list, they now have a "previous relationship" with you.
You don't understand how this works do you? That scenario is specifically forbidden in the law. They cannot use your removal call as a basis for a "previous relationship."
If you went back to the web interface within 2 minutes you didn't give your computer time to even sync data through IMAP. You can't say something is slow when you don't let it work. I've been using Google's IMAP service for 3 years on 3 accounts and it has never given me a problem.
The law you quoted deals with transfers os sale to unrelated persons and also only for handguns.
A minor can POSSESS a firearm if given it by a parent or other responsible adult (like a friend of a parent). That's what (3)(A) refers to. Also, it is mostly left up to states in "after purchase" situations. Federally, you must be 18 to buy a long gun and 21 to buy a handgun.
in some states you need to go before the police, and get them to do a background check which can involve interviews with neighbors, friends and family and Police to determine you have a NEED to get a gun. After all that, you still might have a waiting period (even if you own guns already) and still get all the fun at gun store.
I'm not sure where you got the "interview neighbors" bit, maybe communist New York? I've never heard of even them doing that.
That is completely and utter bullshit. There have been a FEW, counted on one hand, cases of dealers selling firearms illegally. Most of the cases that were brought up in "studies" were thrown out do to illegal tactics used by the ATF. Mayor Bloomberg in New York was also breaking the law with his cronies going over state lines to try and illegally purchase firearms. He said they were able to purchase guns at 3 neighboring states. The only problem was, they had to break the law to do so. They provided false information to the dealer. The FBI and ATF both told him to cease operation of these "stings" or he would go to prison.
Buying a firearm at a gun show is no different than buying one at a store. You have to fill out the same paperwork and go through the same background check.
While I'm in no way a Comcast fan they are rolling out 50mbps service in and around the Indianapolis area. One of my long time friends worked there up until recently and saw the service tested.
No, my card is a Discover Discover. THANK YOU for that link. I guess they just forgot to notify their long standing customers about this. I guess that's why I use Amex mostly now.
Do you wonder why they keep locking your accounts and holding your money? You rolled over and took it the FIRST time and have done so since. You should've sued them the first time it happened.
Since when does Discover have this again? They had it YEARS ago and I used it regularly for online purchases and then they got rid of it. I contacted them about it about a year ago and they said it wasn't used enough to be worth the "cost and hassle" to them. As far as I know, it hasn't come back. I could be wrong though.
No. A FMJ bullet has a jacket made of COPPER, not steel. No bullet uses a steel jacket as that would wear out a barrel very quickly. Some AP (for Armor Piercing) uses a steel penetrator core, a very small steel shank inside the bullet.
Also, spamming is like a shotgun, spreading small pellets EVERYWHERE hoping to hit something.

Wrong. There is NO MECHANICAL LINK between the engine and the wheels.
Please show me when the gas engine drives the wheels. The Volt is NOT a hybrid. It is driven ONLY by electric motors. It is exactly what GM says it is, an extended range electric.
The only way that can be considered true is if you're counting spices as vegetables. If you aren't, then you need to get some good meat.
Or brass knuckles (illegal in some states)
Brass knuckles are never sold as brass knuckles anymore. They're sold as paperweights so that they're legal everywhere.

To buy a gun you need 2 forms of ID
Not federally, that is a state restriction.

PLEASE STOP SPREADING FUD!!

Yes, they can lock it but not indefinitely and without explanation. That is theft. A TOS doesn't override the law.

Citi Cards has one, so does Discover.

Down for me here in AZ at 09:16 MST. I haven't had trouble connecting until now.

I cannot even put into words how ignorant-of-the-situation that statement is.
He didn't say "Whiskey" but "Whisky" which is correct.
