And these people with little time are somehow going to get the time to watch a terabyte of video? While you're certainly right in Toshiba aiming at the rich, aiming at the demographic with little time probably isn't something Toshiba is doing with this particular product...
This is from a high school student taking simple high school accounting..
More cash inflow than outflow doesn't necessarily mean its turning a profit. It can, but it doesn't have to. I think the editors (here and the external link) have jumped the gun on this one, and I'd rather wait for the real results announcement, instead of a little bit of information out of context. I'm sure there are real accountants here willing to contradict me, but it's just my 2 cents - regardless of how immaterial it is:P
You said that early climate change models were incredibly unhelpful. This was ultimately the first step in creating a helpful one. Why can't the same apply to this universe simulation?
This is awesome...

... I'm the owner of PenIsland.com (Get your free pen from us) and I've received a few legal threats from several homosexually-oriented pornography websites (the url's of which I am not of liberty to disclose). This is an outrage, clearly all I am trying to do is provide the world with a service of free pens.
(In case you didn't realise, I don't own the domain and this post was a joke >.>)
Will Google only accept files from the original copyright holder, or someone authorised to do so... instead of another service like ImageShack, but with video.
What kind of content control does Google have in place for this service? (I haven't looked into it)
Is every file looked through to make sure it's not copyrighted? Or if the file depicts illegal activity, etc?
On the same note, would Google take files out if someone paid them to (eg. insulting clips, though not illegal, may tarnish a reputable name or something)
... I'm a true blue Windows user, but I've tried linux. Red Hat 8, to be specific. I remember the FIRST thing it told when I logged in as root, was to create a new non-power account. It even showed me how to. Whenever I wanted to change/install something, a nice prompty would come up asking for my password to give it the proper priviliges.
M$ should learn from this, and their little article there, that instead of the stupid tour that appears when you first login after a fresh install, there should be a message alerting the user to create a new account.
In about grade 4, during summer vacation, when it was too hot to stay outside from just playing in the pool, we played monopoly. Nonstop. We used the same rule you did, putting all taxes and such in the 'pot' and whoever landed on Free Parking would win it. I also distinctly remember setting fire to the 2 cards that made you pay for owning houses and hotels, because we made another rule for our SUPER LONG TYCOON MONOPOLY, allowing us to build up to 2 hotels per property, costing twice as much to build, but would cost the person landing there twice the amount of the hotel price on the card. You would could also build extra houses, which would then be calculated by adding the price of landing on the hotel and adding the price of the amount of houses on the property.
The longest I've played monopoly for in one sitting would have to be 20 hours, with this version. It ended because we all fell asleep (it was only grade 4).
.. maybe I'm just a cynic, but am I the only one who thinks these are the people who just couldn't get a real job in the IT industry when these computers were state-of-the-art, and have now been completely left behind? Lucky for them, there's still work available for them to do - retrieving data from the outmoded media.
Yes, I'm fully aware that a lot of the enthusiasts included in the group mentioned probably have IT jobs, but still, guys like that remind me of the IT teachers in my high school, who just couldn't quite make it and teach students Turbo Pascal instead(not that there isn't anything wrong with it...)
... after the next Supreme Court Chief Justice dies, make way for Bart Simpson.
Someone to show how cool mathematics is
Blasphemy! Mathematics has always been cool, too cool for school in fact.
No, this did not happen in Japan.

I believe the key word is when. By that time USB may be obsolete :P
More realistically though, by the time it's released, USB will probably be taken out of Vista.
I'm here 'til Thursday, try the veal!

NASA used Pi to 9 decimal places for most calculations in the moon landings.
Bart Simpson would say, 'I didn't do it'.
You can spend -$5 on gas, and +$5 on SPF-30. Eventually, things will balance out.
Unfortunately, if current oil prices keep going up, that $5 will get you about 10 steps closer to where you're buying the sunblock from.
What is 1 MiB of L2 cache? 1 Million Bytes?
It's the binary count of bytes, 2^n, instead of the decimal *10^n
FINE. One more go.

You've probably misunderstood my comment, partially my fault with ambiguous wording.
I meant will Google check through all the files to make sure things like hollywood films, tv shows, etc...
