I used to have a hard copy of General Electric's BASIC and FORTRAN manuals, until a weasel (who claimed to be a preacher!) stole them.
I felt a little better when was busted for stealing TVs.
It helps to have a job you love and are committed to.
The biggest issue that I have found is that I need to be vigilant to keep my work out of my personal time.
We are down to one part-time sysadmin, and she does a terrific job. I've seen lousy sysadmins, and know well to appreciate a good one.
Now if only management appreciated her as well!
It wasn't even the shock wave that caused Challenger to disintegrate, it was the sudden deviation from its course while under Max-Q. Trying to separate quickly from the stack would have been just as bad.

Getting into orbit for less than $2,000 seems absurd (and not even worth firing up Rocksim to get specific figures).
Ground launch would require very large motors - just the motor casings (solid or hybrid fuel) would likely cost over $2000. (98mm solid fuel casing costs about $500; that size motor might be able to achieve orbital altitude, but nowhere near orbital velocity). Add the cost of the fuel and a guidance system, surely it would cost many tens of thousands of dollars to get into orbit.
Any other rocketeers here see a way to get into orbit for anywhere near $2,000? Or even $20,000?
Sounds to me that the Dear Doctor has been Pounded on the head by a (sterling) Silver Hammer.

Whatever happened to the network version of Hearts that used to be included with Windows?

When asked for comment, Buzz Aldrin said "I don't find leaks, I only take them"
Perhaps 'inhuman' is a better term, though. http://www.allwords.com/word-inhuman,%20inhumane.h tml
It ought to be impossible to dial while driving!
The article says that the frequency of middle C is 256 Hz. Sorry, no, it's approximately 261.6Hz. Analysis: the article is quite flat.
The 'tents' look pretty sci-fi to me. They look a lot like the futuristic renderings I saw in books about space exploration in the 60s
Is No one else reminded of 'Appliantology'?
