    It may take awhile, but if people start finding themselves banned from, say, YouTube or Facebook by IP, they'll start caring about NAT.

    At the point where NAT is that heavily used... IP addresses will no longer be viable identifications for bans.

    And is viewed as a subject of derision by the other customers and staff. And the comic store guy is an artist, and not portrayed as slovenly or overweight, BBT is quite mild and insightful when it comes to stereotyping and more closely shows the intra-community geek stereotypes than the external ones. (Of course the ethnic and gender sterotyping is way worse, but still not so bad.)

    People only Say "Central New York" when they mean "Upstate" Basically Middle of no where or small cities. Cablevision has parts of the NY Metropolitan area but Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island are Cablevision free.

    Yes, the world is broken. That's why we have entropy, and all sorts of other stuff. I believe in God. I'm sorry you choose not to. Can you point me to your proof that the universe's physical laws are consistent everywhere in time and space? Science requires faith. I choose to have faith in something else and acknowledge science as having gotten the mechanics worked out real well.

    Is it rational? For me it is. Is it based on an evidence chain that starts with assuming uniformitarian principle as truth? No. But that doesn't make you right. It doesn't give you the right to bully pulpit your ideas on me.
