Why would you limit the buying age of a game when you don't a book? the fact that Chess uses pieces to denote the ending of another piece.. does that make it violent? What is the difference between seeing a fake animated shooting in a video game than seeing the pictures and video of real people shooting each other on the news. if you limit one you have to apply the rules to all else it is discrimination
I don't think young kids have any biz playing GTA - I know my did will not at least not until they are able to understand that it isn't real. that is my job not uncle Sam's - inside my home I make the rules not the government, if they want to make the rules they can feel free to pay my bills.
the other think you have to look at is that it put the responsibility of checking age on the cashier - and they had nasty criminal penalties. No of this is write..
I under stand banned substances but I don't believe in age controlled substance.
ClearWire offers services in my area.. i looked into it.. for what i get with TimeWarner Cable (at 45$ a month) it would cost me >100$ a month and i would have to sign a two year contract.. sorry no go for me..
We where a test bed for Nextel's wireless - it was nice and was about 80$ a month for the same services as i get with cable - but the closed the service.
do you memeber video of bush's second election night? the streets where filled with protesters.. in fact it was the first time in history that the pres couldn't walk in because they where afraid he would be shot - no one saw this in the us.. except for the people there. the news didn't cover it - sure they had people covering it but it never ever got to the air. 90% or more of the US doesn't know and doesn't give a shit what happens.. and that is how they want it.. it saddens me..
i was jsut thinking about it... and if they set the first out going packet's ttl to 1 or 2 they could make it even more effective aginst active fire walls as the udp packet would die before it makde it the other person so that they nat box wouldn't see an incoming attempt before a request from it's clients..
that and they would save 1 packet of info per call on the net.. think abouthow much bandwidth that is:)
once you have established a UDP connection (i know it is connection list but both of them talking) between the them you can fake your own TCP connection or switch it to one. once you know the forwarding port your good to go..
oh i was stating what happens today.. and i know what you mean.. i was detained 3 times in one month because apperently there was a drug dealer in the area that drove the same car as me.
i was just posting to the parents comment that it is't a big deal.. it realy is and people need to be aware of it.
i am not sure what it would be for this but i do know that i am currently running 5 virtual servers on a dual p4 2.4 xeon box - load is around 25-40 % average with up to 80 when it gets hammered.. but no service issues - the only bottle neck is disk i/o - we are currently adding/upgrading raid controlers on it to give the virtual servers better disk access but over all it works well - i was able to pull 3 servers off the rack and virtualize them..
the dual xeon consumes ~280 watts constant and each of the the 3 that where pulled used ~180 so yea we save power.. but it will take more than a life time to make up for the hardware cost - but that isn't why we did it.. it was mainly for the reliability and portability of virtual servers.. that and wanting to use everything to it's fullest extent
if you say "Here is my ID, PIG! Now shove it up your bacon laden ass!" he can arrest you for verbal assault of an officer - and if you are in a public place and say it really loud he can get you for disturbing the peace.
they already have more power than you think.. and if they request ID and you don't have it they can detain you until they can verify who you are if they have some probable cause.
if your really good you get a hold of their code fix it and give it back to him in the interview - personaly i like the idea of handing the person being interviewed something from the cbfuscated C contest and ask them to take 5 min and tell me what it does - if they know you show them (seen it before) hire them... if they can manage to read it in 5 min and know what it does having never seen it before - hire them.. if they just look at you dumb.. send them home.
or you can just bend the fiber and catch what little bit makes it out.. or you could splice in a larger pice of glass like -|- and read it from the edge of the incerted glass - sure you would notice the beem being weaker but that amount depends on the size of the glass inserted - if you are looking up close you only need to divert alittle of the light to read it.. and the link wouldn't ever have to go down for it to happen - fiber is leaky.. just read the leaks or make your own.. no need to read and repeat just read
yea the plot line wasn't the most indepth story ever but i will say that it had more game play time than any game being released today.. hl2 was what 8 hours.. short has hell
I miss the days of long games.. i don't want something with 8-12 hours of game play.. i want stuff with alteast amonth.. remember C&C how long it took to play through.. and the Orginal Unreal dear god how the hell they put that much story line on a single CD still blows my mind compared to the crap that comes out today..
I don't need photo realistic c's i want a damn story - if you can give both i will take them but if you don't have a story and lots of game play then i woln't bother
the larger the screen the worse the yeild.. same thing with CPU's.. the larger the screen the more money you pay the better the quality has to be.. I know that if i got a 30in and even one pixel was bad they would be taking it back.. random mom/dad geta 17in and 1-2 green pixels they might not even notice..
the people that want the large screens know what they want and are picky.. the masses not so much.. so they have a worse yeild to sale ration for the larger screens on top of higher cost to manufacture..
There where ways.. it wasn't that hard.. in fact it was really easy to have the connecting client clear it's temp key so that every computer connecting everytime would appear to terminal server as a new cient and would issue a 30 day key.. and everytime they connected it gave them a new one.. and after 90 days the terminal server would drop the non active temp key.
or the better way was to manual configure the registry and get terminal server to run under internet connector license..
while it took some work it wasn't that bad once you figure it out.
a PIX box is a security appliance - basicly a firewall on so much crak that it doesn't let jack through.. PIX boxes arn't all that wonderful, but they are not routers they do not route anything. http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/vpndevc/ps2 030/
as for the switch.. if it died i would have gotten it replaced.. that is what smartnet is for.. the fact that you replaced it with 5 netgear 48's means that more than likly you did have over kill on the switch (if you had one doing that job) and it also means you more than likly where not using it for the fetures. for basic networks yea cisco isn't the answer.. but when you need to truly manage a large network - they have the best tool set.
I am not saying cisco is the only way to go.. i just don't like when people just call them crap.
personaly i would worrie about this thing.. i have a metal plate and some clips in my skull - infact on both the inside and outside of the skull.. what happens when it hits me? i don't know / i doubt they know - if it reacts to metal in any form or fashion as a microwave, it may just be leathal to me.
when gates are a few atoms wide.. when to make it smaller they need to use sub atomic particals as building blocks.. even at 45 nm the interconnects are only a few atoms wide.. when they get to 1 atom wide.. i think that will be a safe stopping point.. but till then.. the smaller the better.

nah.. i am to lazy.. but mabey we can out source the task to someone..
correction.. as some have reminded me .. it was the first election not the second.
but the rest of the post is correct
do you memeber video of bush's second election night? the streets where filled with protesters.. in fact it was the first time in history that the pres couldn't walk in because they where afraid he would be shot - no one saw this in the us.. except for the people there. the news didn't cover it - sure they had people covering it but it never ever got to the air. 90% or more of the US doesn't know and doesn't give a shit what happens.. and that is how they want it.. it saddens me..
that is exactly what i ment
i was jsut thinking about it... and if they set the first out going packet's ttl to 1 or 2 they could make it even more effective aginst active fire walls as the udp packet would die before it makde it the other person so that they nat box wouldn't see an incoming attempt before a request from it's clients..

well to be honest if the cop wants to be an ass -
if you say "Here is my ID, PIG! Now shove it up your bacon laden ass!" he can arrest you for verbal assault of an officer - and if you are in a public place and say it really loud he can get you for disturbing the peace.

but that is my personal view..

time for a new bumper sticker.... "My child beat up your sex offender"
it works so wrong in so many ways...
the larger the screen the worse the yeild.. same thing with CPU's.. the larger the screen the more money you pay the better the quality has to be.. damn i wish i had mod points.. that is Insightful

your funny.. very funny..
i will take just the cake... and eat it too.
what model do you have.. i have never seen one that could route..
