we have a 2mb up 2mb down link that sits around 60% saturation.. it is line of sight to the companys main building which is about 2 miles away.. even durring ice storms we didn't have much issue. (usability drop by about 20%) but over all considering the price (225$) i can't complain.. i wouldn't rely on it as a sole link.. the same way i wouldn't rely on the t1.. this is why we have both..
the only wireless i have had any good experience with working.. is custom microwave..
we use a wireless connection which is line of sight microwave as a seondary connection and it has better uptime than our MCI t1.. (then again it is MCI.....)
but here in lye's the question of what is required of the shop to prove age.. should I have to have a notarized copy of my birth certificate and three forms of photo id to buy?
you would be surprised at the quality of some of the fake id's out there.. hell I had a friend of mine take one of his cousins birth cert down to the dmv and gave all the right answers and got a license saying he was 22 when he was 17..
it was state issued and the two of them looked very alike.. now if he goes to a bar and gets busted (say a cop that new him was there) the bar gets hit and so forth.. he is a minor so doesn't get anything for it. it isn't fair. there has to be a limit on what is required by the bar to prove id. and if that isn't met then you can claim they screwed up.. but when they do it to the best of their abilities you can't fault them..
well it does create a 3D shape one top of the flat plane of water the 2d shape can't curve back on it's self as it would fall but if ever took a look at a boat and flipped it upside down you would see that you would never need it to.
the idea is to get something close quickly instead of having to lay it out in wood - shape it and clean it.. if you could make something close - pop a mold of it then you can make fine changes to the mold.
Well where i live the AV shops i am talking about are the ones that go into schools and biz to do full av install for classrooms.. It takes some hunting and you woln't find bargin prices - but there are alot of them out there and not to hard to find.. basicily if they have a retail store front.. you are in the wrong place.
i know you said it can't be front projected but any projector that you would use for a confrence room has the ablitlity to be mounted on the ceiling and also set so that it is to be rear projected.. so you ahve progjector on the screen and then people looking at the other side of screen..
go talk to a local av shop.. or msg me and i will give you part numebrs.. you can do it for a hell of alot lesss than a huge flat screen display..
you could also use the idea on more substances like say.. epoxy or rasien. to create shapes in a certian form quicker than some one could carve one.. i am thinking for master molds for boats and stuff.. where it takes months to a year to make the master.. if you could put in a plotted file and get a close shape form this thing.. even if it took it a week to make the shape it would be worth every bit of $
the people at the company I work for travel a lot and we.. they break shit a lot. so I get about one dead camera a month..
here lately I have been making it a point to get them all the same model cameras instead of letting them get their own. that way I can take the dead ones and make good ones and send them back out.. but more often than not they break the lends assembly
and by the way.. the flash capacitors REALLY hurt..
I know i would vote.. right now i don't because my vote doesn't count.. my state has nothing saying that they have to vote the way the public does so really my vote is nothing but a dog and pony show..
i wouldn't mind getting a nice large peice of clear IR blocking plastic.. i always take the ir filters out of digital cameras and stick them on friends remotes.. funny.. they don't see them there and they will cuss up a storm.. then you grab it.. sip the little peice off and it works for you:)
I had an old sony tv that needed a delay loop replaced.. it isn't a hard task when you have the schematics.. i called sony.. they said they could sell them to me for 150$.. i told them they where crazy.. and i bought a new tv
if you set up a sever on the outside to except http trafic in say xml or something like that you can create your own proxy to defeat their proxy and allow your whole app to run through http.. sure it adds a layer of abstration but if you stick it into your custom net stack and translate it on both ends it should work rather well..
always remember if you can get a connection on any one port then you can get them all if you really try.
yes but to be honest to we want something out there that uses bad form to teach beginners? they will only learn bad things and then come work with you and make you mad in the long run..
if we can flog an author into writing things right and teching off of that we save our selves the time of fixing dumb shit..
but with plenty of better books out here that don't have the obvious dumb errors it is better just not to recommend this one in hopes that the author woln't write more.
may i recommed that you find someone who knows how to keep fail over systems working and test them on a regular basis.. if each time you need them they have failed i would never host anything there

that is exactly what is on all of your CMOS digital cameras.. an IR filter.. sits right on top of the chip..

ahh but also gives her the ability to hit something more effectivly if she wanted to

you should come to the US .. we do that with news a politics.. and every 4 years that FUD leads some idiot to be the leader.
i was meaning for a txt chat client .. yea it wouldn't work for voice calls but it didn't seem like that is what he was trying to do.
