Careless, aggressive, inattentive and plain bad drivers are really big problems.
I agree with this 100%. People do really stupid shit in cars. They pull out blindly into traffic, they drive 30mph or more faster than the traffic in the lane next to them, they turn where it is clearly marked they aren't allowed to, they take left turns INTO TRAFFIC just because the other lane is finally clear, etc. etc. etc. I don't even live in a big city and I see this stuff every day -- people don't treat the roads or other drivers with any amount of respect. Drunk and distracted driving are definitely a problem of their own but eliminating them doesn't fix stupid.
Wait, so this is an article about a reports that some people are nervous because they heard someone might consider this ban. What? As far as I can tell, and what the UK government has directly confirmed, they aren't even considering such a ban. That's not even considering what a lot of other commentators have pointed out, which is that 20 years is a LOT of time to figure out how to fix it.
I give them credit -- here they found their own security issue before it became a breach, they fixed it, and they didn't sweep it under the rug but instead they notified their users. Kudos for being forthcoming.
Sure, when you're offering it in countries like India for INR 999... which is the equivalent of about $15/yr. There are plenty of people there that can afford that (and yes, plenty who can't, but at over 1.3 bln people it only takes less than 10% of them to reach 100m) so of course your subscription numbers are going to inflate like crazy.
Nobody on exchange uses the Windows Mail app. They use Outlook. The Windows Mail app is a (horrible) consumer-grade email program, and very few at the consumer level use exchange. They tend to use hotmail, yahoo, gmail as providers.
We have a TV in our bedroom, and I can sleep just fine with it on if my wife is watching, but when it's off, it has a white LED status indicator that is on at the bottom, and that light drives me crazy -- thinking I might have to either remove it or tape it. My alarm clock drives me nuts, too, so I have to turn it away from me, and if my wife tries to read her kindle it often will wake me up even if it's not facing me.
Anyway, I don't think it's all this that makes me depressed, I think it's my job in IT that does that...
I've tried them a couple of times and maybe I'm just not getting good quality but how do you get them to fit right without so much pressure on your eyelids?
Seriously, what Chinese cars are actually being sold in the US anyway? I mean, raise the tarriff -- it's not like it will make any difference to anything.
That's a really good point, I hadn't thought about jailbreaking automated vehicles but you're right, it is bound to happen.

I guess that means we are all 1%ers, so much for Occupy!
That depends which angle you look at them from, doesn't it?

Much ado about nothing.
How do you explain latitudinal lines?

And what exactly is uranus feeling?
This was immediately a whoosh for me, thinking "well that makes sense, taxis will take a more direct route than buses."

I tried it. It didn't work. Myth debunked?

No, holodecks use science fiction tricks.
Yes, and frankly, human drivers get them wrong often enough as well.
And of course today my mod points are expired so I can't help you out...

The sun should just carry a gun. Clearly it could then protect all of us!

What time & effort? For me, at least, it was just a little prick in the arm. I deal with little pricks all the time so it was just a normal day.
For that matter, could Windows ever be fully compatible with Windows software?
You're exactly right, except you called in 'investing' -- Most would call it 'speculating' at best.
The same number of people would be upset, just not the same people.
Well, for one, thing, in their 'minds' they see 10 + 10 = 100.
Oh, I misunderstood. Turns out YOU are rubber and AmiMoJo is glue in this case... Sorry, it's been a while since I've dealt with schoolyard logic.
