Good point. Consoles are getting more and more powerful compared to the PC.
However, first person shooters like counter-strike and strategy games that work nicely with a mouse and keyboard aren't as good on the console.
As far as Apple goes, I wouldn't be too surprised if they release a version of Mac OS for the PC or at least come up with a way to lower the cost of their computers so they sell more copies of OS X, sell more iPods, and sell more music from iTunes, this will then cause more software to be made for the Mac which will cause them to sell more hardware and more copies of OS X. You see where this is going? If they sell more OS X than Microsoft sells Windows, Apple can eventually make as much money as Microsoft... and then they can afford their own army and... eventually have world domination. Now that I think about it, maybe it's better they don't come out with a PC version of OS X.
Will Microsoft soon be in the business of patenting thoughts? If so, I've got first bids on patenting thoughts of attractive naked women. You all will owe me big!
The only reason companies use Exchange server so much is because it works well with Outlook. There are plenty of Linux e-mail and calendar servers that beat Exchange. However, there's not anything that beats Outlook, and the Windows/Outlook/Exchange combo is tough to beat in terms of features, usablity, and ease of use.
When all my games run well on Linux it will be #1. Windows will be #1 for at least ten more years maybe even 20. Although if Apple has a PC version of OS X, things might change sooner.
I like Jeri Ryan better than Terry Ferrel except for Jeri being a prude (in interviewers she complained about her costumes being too revealing).
However, Jolene Blalock is the hottest of all the Star Trek chics. She's a hot sexy model who is not a prude and she's not old. You also can find lots videos and pictures of her wearing very little clothes, which is a big plus.
Although Kirsty Alley looked pretty hot in Star Trek 2. Also, the guest appearences of Ashley Judd as Wesley Crusher's girlfriend were very nice. She wasn't in enough episodes to be considered a Star Trek hottie.
If it gets too long maybe they could delete some of it or split up the legislation, so legislators are voting on multiple bills instead of one huge war in the middle East and give money to Alaska bill.
Maybe the bills should have some sort of word limit, to limit the measures like this and pork from being added to bills that get passed.
If a bill is longer than the US constitution, than it is too long, and congress really shouldn't be voting on legislation that is so long that none of the senators even have time to read it all.
The people who buy MS products because of these benchmarks are the same people who voted for Bush because of his townhall meetings. This kind of stuff works on over half of the US.
I agree that this is a huge challenge, as Sun has been working on their VM for over ten years. It will be at least a couple of years before this project has anything useful. However, Apache is not know for creating vaporware, so maybe something very good will eventually come from this.

It's the same reason that Oracle went with Java for every component that doesn't need to be written in C or C++ for performance reasons.
Have you also noticed how much nicer it is to run Oracle on Unix or Linux rather than Windows?

At least the UK has real town hall meetings. Besides, Tony Blair is way better than Bush.
Shatner does a "Have you been hurt in an accident?" commerical for a personal injury law firm. I think it's Brad Hendricks law firm.

You must have a book or a reference to know the meaning of an error... reminds me of my days of maintaining Fortran code written in the 70s.
