If I can get it for half the price, I'll buy it. I buy 13 dollar power supplies KNOWING they will die in 3-6 months. But as long as they work in the midterm, I'm happy. Same goes for routing equipment. BRING ON THE PAIN!
And never will. I used Red Hat's distro back when it was RED HAT 6. That alone was a nightmare that made me cringe at the very thought of rpm distro's. And after that mandrake 8. After those experiences, I vowed never to tough any rpm based distro again. I understand there yum, and you know what? I used yum on red hat back then too. And it was worse then rpm hell. I'm not trying to be trollish. If your a new user, as I was back then, You don't want ANY problems. It didn't help I had a dell, but thats beside the point. The first impression is always the most important one. Even though I despise ubuntu,If forced to chose, I would chose a apt based system.
I thought that WUSB was supposed to replace USB 2.0? Is there going to be two different standards now? And is there going to be a interoperability between WUSB 1.0 and USB 3.0? That would kinda interesting to see done.
I'd subscribe at the 20 dollar price point except that I get the info for my channels as part of my monthly bill. (I have dish network.) Other then that this is a great way for them to raise money.
I have one statement. Google don't copy that floppy. Perfect example of alarmist statements people have been making. And this was back in the 80's. I love the line, WELCOME TO THE END OF THE INTERNET!!! Oh my g0dz0r! no more teh webz0rs! Seriously, Piracy is integrated into future projections of profit. It's apart of ALL major industries. Great example is knock off's. If you can afford to pay for the game, AWESOME! But if your like me, living with your GF's mom trying to save some money to get out into your house. And yes I do work hard, I don't play games 24/7. But I want to be able to enjoy blowing off some steam here and there. I know the retort will be think of the devs! Well, I do, since i want to become one of those devs. And you know what? I don't care. If someone wants to pirate my game, big freaking deal. There is almost always more people wanting to get my game then there is people pirating it. As long as I have enough to barely pay the bills, I'm happy. Thats it. Everything else is pure ego.
The industry wouldn't let anyone make a purely modular laptop, people wouldn't have much reason to upgrade. I don't buy a laptop because I don't want a locked down pc. If you want portable, buy a shuttle and get a car adapter. Or a external power source.
But thats what a warranty is for. I'd suggest going to different retail stores and asking their opinion. There is no one more honest then someone that thinks they are getting a commission.;-)
December 31, 2006. After that, They are unsure of what they are going to do. I remember a company called dialpad years ago that did something similar, except in reverse, they started out giving unlimited free calling to anyone. Then they cut it down to 10 minutes, 5 minutes, then 1 minute and then they were forced to shut down because no one would subscribe. I'm sure this isn't the case with Skype but given they're past record I'm not sure this is a good idea.
Would they put a extra port on a motherboard to give it it's own bandwidth or would they be forced to use the existing ports, Which I admit haven't even begun to get fully utilized. But the only place I can see this having any use is possibly in renderfarms. Otherwise, I'm buying the cheapest card for the best value. Regardless of namebrand, reviews, etc.
Its supposed to be gigabit wireless, So it takes care of your Gigabit Token Ring (GTR). And really, What's the point? Seriously, if you can't secure wireless, then you shouldn't be messing with ANY type of network.
Agreed, I would say that its a step foward. I mean, I would love to know for sure that my NTFS partiton would be fully supported without having to use captive or something similar, but its better then having fat32 or something similar. And TwoTailed, email me, i would love to have another fox to talk to.:-)

I'm to lazy to RTFA, so, any idea what happens if you suddenly stop responding to their survey questions?

But I saw a post about a sha/md5 cracker http://nsa.unaligned.org/ Could that help at all?
Actually it's Internet Killed the video star http://www.poptix.net/funny/videostar.swf ;-)
For some reason, I can't help but feel a little smug about that. If your going to choose a side, Make sure you know your side is going to win.

And you'll have the Triforce of Power. haha, i'll be here all my life!
If not couldn't it be used for diabetics? Or others that need constanst injections?

Madden on Wii. This is going to make my football experience just a little too weird.
Snakes with hips would scare me, I can barely stand snakes with shoulders........... ;-)
