Just a little information spiel...
Here, in Japan, Yahoo is offering a TV package included with their broadband service. For an extra 2,000yen (about US$20) p/month you can select from around 1000 movies to watch, anytime, on your TV. YahooBB also allows free fixed-line telephone calls between YahooBB users and cheap international calls. It's about US$30 p/month for a 12M connection.
Is it not true that most of the cost of software comes from it's maintenance?
If the code is created well from the beginning, it will be much easier to maintain in the end.
Therefore: Good Code = Easy Maintenance = Less Expense
I wonder if when the company gets hold of the source code, they will copyright/patent it as their own product and sue people who use the same methods for infringement, thereby hampering efforts to develop similar software.
I vote for mob justice. Throw him into a locked room filled with the pissed off masses fed up with too much ludicrous junk mail.
I, for one, welcome our new 45 nanometer overlords.

Personally, I love the Logitech Cordless Trackman Wheel mouse http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm?page=products/de tails&contentid=5001&crid=6&detail=2&countryid=19& languageid=1
I had some discomfort using a standard mouse and love the trackball mechanism.
Very comfortable.
