Point well taken. But what i meant was that if it's even part of our genome, shouldn't that our body already knows how to control this virus, because otherwise it would be affecting us?

It is a rumor and should be treated as such. But still, it doesn't seem too farfetched to me. If there will be a shortage, Europe will probably be the first place to screw over.
