Everyone always brings up the "AMD cant supply enough" argument... I know theres a lot of amd b0xen out there, i mean a LOT. Apples share is what 6% supposedly atm? Does anyone have any figures to actually prove they cant handle this?

As i understand it, one of the big problems is huge patchsets and not overly clean or readable code... Go do some work with khtml, then belittle the devs if you feel like it.

You do know linus is a millionaire as well right? I mean, obv not on the scale as BG and as you point out, in a far better manner. AFAIK he lives in a nice house, drives a decent open top car and looks after his kids.. Seems pretty straightforward use of money... no famous charitable stuff, but no investing in giant feet sculptures or whatever it is the MS guys are doing.

  14. because you had windows! on Linux and OpenOffice save Microsoft Presentation · · Score: 0

Your point is kind of irrelevant, if you'd had a linux install instead of a 2k, you could have used that just as well... Whereas the MS person did had a simple nix install set up, or 2 windows installations (thank god.. cos thats fun :S) MS Office is choosy on files (be choosey on what you accept - thats not how i remember it) and linux could easily have been used of a random live cd... (which incidentally, you could have done as well)
