Sorry.... Even if we don't screw up the environment it's pretty
much guaranteed that the earth is doomed. We are living right
now in the Goldilocks band around the sun. Not too hot and not
too cold. This band is slowly moving towards Mars effectively
spelling out earth's destruction in a blaze of glory. The same
thing will happen to Mars and pretty much all the other planets.
This will happen faster if something like a black hole flies out
and rips apart the sun.
It could be that a lot of these links, the ones that appear dead, do so only because the spoofing vulnerability in use doesn't work in the browser you're using.
You mean Internet Explorer????? They actually fixed the phishing problem????? Nah.. More than likely the website was shut down.
You know. I must have been spoofed about a hundred times from people wanting my bank account information. Unfortunately, the emails weren't from the right bank. Also, after a while I got curious and clicked on the spoofing links. The website was dead. If all spoofers are the same then I'd suggest that people should seriously think about firing those idiots in the UK. Also, where is the antivirus software???

Personally.... They need a book reviews. There are plenty of DIY
books out there that need to be reviewed. There are probably
more than the creator of this magazine actually realizes. Then
again would I want slashdoter's to have plans to a DIY EMP
device.(IM serious) Hmmmmm....
The definition of a wiki has nothing to do with an encyclopedia
despite the fact that the most popular wiki is one. A wiki is
just a website that allows for collaboration with other people in
the creation of information. Then again people visiting the
website can confuse it with wikipedia because the design is so
similar.
Errrr... Plausible in the sense that it's probably more science
fiction now. The batsuit is equipped with a bullet proof
material. Unfortunately most bullet proof materials are not
knife resistant. So you add some metal gauntlets to defend
against those attacks. Perfectly plausible. Equip the cowl with
a composite material to protect the head and various radios,
microphones, and a police scanner. This is still in the realm of
possibility. Batman's cape uses a material resembling a shape
memory alloy which allows him to glide along. There is nothing
on the utility belt that isn't really that surprising. So yeah,
it's more science fiction that fantasy right now. Now you must go out and buy the guide on how to be Batman http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1594740232/ qid=1118926122/sr=2-3/ref=pd_bbs_b_2_3/102-9336358 -1690545
Well there is Trauma Center: Under The Knife Hands. You and a friend can see which one of you can make a better Kevorkian. Jee... This game might the only reason why I would buy the DS.
will be weapons. Think of the results. Gangs working together to create a better gun. Countries working to build better bombs. A whole new realm of coperation will be fostered. Errrr... Perhaps not.
On a more serious note. Here is another open source robot. It's nice knowing that it isn't the only one. http://www.symbio.jst.go.jp/PINO/
Psssttt.... The United States is the country you want. We are mainly fixated with the automating our army and a lot of the new technologies from the U.S. are military.
I recently watched Joseph Engelberger give a speech about why there were no service robots all ready. He said that we have all the technologies we need to build a service robot. Another point he made was that the robot has to balance both cost and usefulness. Robotic vacuums with these fancy features have always been around in some form or another. It's just always been too expensive for anyone to justify buying these devices. Roomba changed that trend because it was cheap enough for people to buy even as a gift. Engelberger also believed that the Japense are wasting their time building bipedal robots. Wheeled robots can use the elevator instead of climbing up stairs. He was a fascinating person and is one of the main reasons why we are talking about Toyota's new service robots. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_F._Engelberger
Perhaps you should have built a DIY CNC machine before trying to drill so many holes. The process would have been much easier since you would have the machine automatically cut them out.
Ummm.. Inhabitable wasteland is par for outerspace.
