Now how a database is going to help this? The only way you make itwork is to create an OK to work list and have everyone in the country who is legal to work listed along with photo.

But if you are a bus-smitten general contractor who say has just finshed a building but has an agreement with the buildings owner to be paid for the building over time then the children would still receive the income from the agreement.
Personally, I think your works should become public domain after you die, and that corporations should have similar time-periods, let's say about 50 years.

The author leaves his house to go pick up his four children from school and gets hit by a bus.
Should that work go public domain as his body cools?

There are two problems with the current photochromatic sunglasses. First they are sensitive to only UV. If you are in a car built in the last 20 years they do not get near as dark as they would outside because the cars class is filtering a bunch of the UV.
Also they are very temperature sensitive. They work better when it is cold. Which is the exact opposite of when most people need sunglasses. I used to wear them and played gold on some very clear days in the winter and you could have used them for welding they got so dark. Speaking of welding there are welding shields with LCD to darken the window and I always thought that this technology if made smaller and lighter would be perfect for sunglasses.
