    Everybody makes fun of their neighbors. As a New Yorker I'm required to make fun of New Jersey. Americans make fun of Canadians. Germans make fun of Austrians. People on the other side of the planet? Who cares.

    But the interesting thing here is that Swedes do not have a similar "hate" relationship to Finland.

    A fact that many foreigners may not be aware of, is that Finns also hate Swedes, but I guess it's more in a humoristic way. Swedes are often viewed as faggots, douchebags, stuff like that. Also cheering Sweden in sports competitions is perceived lame. Of course Finland does not actually hate Sweden.

    It is probably because the slavic tradition of Finland conflicts with the more cheerful scandinavian atmosphere of Sweden.

    Despite the hardware platform being x86-64, there is probably a ton of hoops to jump through to discover precisely how the hardware works and to crack the protections. Systems are so complex these days that a loosely-knit group of unpaid hackers might not be able to make a strong result anymore.

    Often when I hear about ancient alcoholic beverages, all sorts of fun flavors like honey, mint, juniper and whatnot, have been brewed into the mix. Why is this not done to a larger extent today? Most of the booze you can get today is quite au naturel.

    As a kid I once demonstrated some BASIC programming to a couple of my friends (two brothers) at their house, and when I started typing "PRINT" assignments, they said "we don't have a printer..."

    Yeah, it's so hard that children can easily teach themselves. It's ridiculously easy. How many of the users here taught themselves to write code before they age of 10? Face it, it doesn't take a special mind or superior intellect to write code. It does not make you special. Get over it.

    Things were different when we could easily fire up a BASIC interpreter and hit one key to start the program. Today there isn't a single environment simple as that.

    Out of curiosity, does somebody already offer a service where you can put your Windows Shares and even Domain Controller to cloud? Then you would use them transparently and users could also log in to them at home. Is this possible?
