Manage all of the office/service computers, but we force the techs to use their own computers, and load our software on them. We are able to force them into buying their own computers as it is considered a tool. All the computers at work are logged onto local admin accounts and connect to our database server through telnet. We have surprisingly few problems even though we run no AV, nor do we patch or have anything resembling an it department. We have boxes ranging from win95-XP in our office's and the techs have everything from p1 laptops running win95 to a guy with a quad core desktop(this is to run a telnet client). With the exception of assigning static IP's and replacing HD's basically no maintenance is required.
The skill penalty is not nearly as bad as I thought it was originally, you can only lose down to your current % of your level. If your at 63.5%(half way to 64%) and a half driving skill you can run down 1000 civs and only go down to 63%, so have fun killing all the civs and cops you want.
Try GTR2, came out a few months ago. its a "realistic" racing game, i personaly think it isnt very fun but thats the price you pay for realism i guess. A guy at work that likes to race in real life enjoys it alot. Oh and if you don't have a steering wheel for your pc i wouldn't even try it.
Wheres my ebook that looks like a book and has dual lcd screens, thats what i really want is an ebook i can take with me that looks like a real book. a book that i can change the content of on demand. oh, and i want it to be nearly free.
Thnx Lolz (555)555-5555
i think we may have missed the boat on that, side scrolling action games arn't really the hot item like they used to be, we do have them quite beat in the fps genre though which is what the us market really seems to be interested in currenty.
This is why the engineers make fun of you.
first
