You cannot "mathematically" prove anything about physical reality. It is just not possible. There are always 2 translation steps and these always introduce errors. Hence to claim that this was "mathematically prove" is just a lie, intended to make it sound absolute. It is not.
Since the human race has proven to be absolutely incapable and unwilling to deal with climate change, it is to be expected that this effect will happen. The bad thing is that those that will get killed will be the ones that are the least to blame.
Well, I have given code in Perl that does real work to students as example and to modify for years. I always got comments that it was very easy to read. Obviously, I am doing something wrong here....
You are funny, but obviously utterly disconnected from reality. A typical state for a cult-member, sadly. Well, have fun in your echo chamber while it last.
Batteries have problems that cannot be solved, the primary are weight and time to recharge.
You statement is about as dumb as those of the article. If you take theoretical battery energy densities (theoretical maximum recharge rates are basically unlimited), you will find that are massively better than what is needed. If you look at batteries that can actually be manufactured at this time, they are below what is needed for many applications, but there is no sane reason to believe there will be no improvements. Your "cannot" only shows you have no clue what you are talking about. Now, if we had theoretical maximum energy densities and recharge times that were too low, you would have a point, but that is most definitely not the case.
In other news, the author of the article is full of it and really, really clueless of how things actually work. He seems to be completely unaware that technologies get refined over time and that this happens particularly when there is high demand for a good produced by a technology.
Your model is grossly incomplete and a pure fantasy as a result. If you have that truck driver supervising, say, 10 trucks (which is on the low end), then you also have 9 unemployed truck drivers. And you seem to completely miss that most people need "work" as a source of meaning in their lives. Food and shelter is not enough, longer term.
Not long. Maybe there will still be a "loader" on the truck, badly paid and with really bad working conditions, because that may be cheaper than a robot. But the driver is going to go extinct not so so long from now in most commercial settings.
The illusion of them being innovative and having the best product. In actual reality, that has stopped a while ago or was never true in the first place, depending on the specific aspects. So they now lean heavily on the "cult" aspect of their marketing. It seems to work, this time again, because people are irrational and there are enough that will fall for the illusion. Of course, if Apple continues to not deliver anything but the illusion, eventually the whole house of cards will come crashing down.
Now, don't get me wrong. I have absolutely no problem with people that buy an iPhone in order to feel better about themselves. It is their money and if they do feel better about themselves as a result of how they spent that money, then that is money well spent. The problem I have is that the current strategy makes Apple less and less viable as an alternative and may even kill Apple as a company in the longer term. An Android mono-culture would be very bad for everybody though and that is why I think that Apple urgently needs to get back to making good technology and actually being innovative, instead of just doing excellent marketing.
I had a look at POWER and it seems you basically have to spend 3k+ to get a system at the moment. Do you know a possibility to get CPU+Mainboard+Cooler for, say, 1k or so? Speed would be secondary.

You should cut back on the drugs.
Well, you obviously were an easy victim.

Oh, well. Another Dunning-Kruger far-left....
Something about these results smells funny.
Yes, always the same incompetents blaming the tool. And hence staying incompetent.
Well, I have given code in Perl that does real work to students as example and to modify for years. I always got comments that it was very easy to read. Obviously, I am doing something wrong here....
It could be argued that C does not really have string handling. Hence what would suck at string handling is the coder, i.e. you.
You are funny, but obviously utterly disconnected from reality. A typical state for a cult-member, sadly. Well, have fun in your echo chamber while it last.
And only pseudonymously in addition. Your point?
You really do not have a systems view of this at all, you just see some isolated details. This causes you to fail to understand the issue.

That would be the only rational explanation for this nonsense.
Indeed. The author is so clueless, it is really amazing.

What an utterly stupid fault to build in as a feature. Obviously Google Doc is viewed as a toy at best by Google.

Can I get paid to write about things I have no clue about? How do I sign up for that job?
The problem with that idea is that the pay of such people is ridiculously bad, even for the utter crap most of them produce.
Well, hopefully the SJWs will turn on themselves full blast soon. Humanity will be better off without them.

Indeed. And the beauty of it is that none of the accusations even have to be true for this to work...
But they have no souls, right?
