I'm all for rich people taking the risk of going to space. For the most part, they are narcissists. And the world could use less of them. This is likely one chance to lead these freaks of nature to the slaughter house and they will go willingly. Sure, most of them won't blow up, but the chances are much higher than the coddled security and body guarded life styles that they lead. Bad luck!

Don't worry bout me. I haven't voted since Clinton proved that caring doesn't matter. I was a firearms advocate. When the democrats made the tentative assault weapons ban I went straight to the polls to vote in republicans to have it repealed. After they were voted into office Clinton's speech went something like this, "I don't care what you got voted in for, it's not going to happen." So, after that, I hated democrats AND republicans. Since then it has expounded to recognized any politician as a liar. Period. no more investing my time in the political process again. If the people speak their voice and it doesn't happen, its out of control. They sell lies, and anyone who votes is buyin.

Actually, there is a fundamental problem with how he made the money and even now how he spends it for charity. The idea of considering a man such as Gates as ethical for still serving his interests with money he made unethically merely to feed his ego. I think I would have preferred him keep it than continue to medal in the affairs of the world. And this just scratches the surface of my argument against blue bloods. Now if he would give all this money to a third party to be dolled out then I may have a differing opinion. But, narcissist leaders are just that and there is nothing that man wants more than the limelight. Just like Jobs. Peas in a Pod in fact.

There are bucket loads of alternative sources of income for this. Doesn't Apple make money for every sale of an Android unit? You might have said that Mozilla was stupid for spending so much time developing the web browser when in reality, long ago, they knew that it would be used for ads and commercialization. Companies like Google for instance, knew this and realize that without the browser there is no ad. So Mozilla gets money from advertisers to make sure there is venue for their ads. Right now I don't think there is a 'user targeted' ad system from any tv provider anywhere. That in itself is really the only necessary income stream. I'm really glad I don't watch TV.

Our approach takes care of ourselves, and others (including you). Hmm. Which is more noble. Basically, when I hear patent fanatics, all I envision are people who are afraid to work. Not because they can't, but because they think they are better than everyone else and they are lazy. They talk about risk, which they usually spread to others around them. Then blame others when it fails. I'm frankly more concerned with people who want to price their ideas so cheaply to make them available for everyone and yet zealously guard their secret. It only makes me think this thing could be dangerous.
