Actually, there are some bootlegs going around from someone called Dr. Ebbetts who took pristine vinyl pressings, ripped, and mastered them using state of the art equipment. They sound so much better than the official releases.

If they are legit, this shows just how insecure they still can be. I went to a Chines place at the mall that didn't take debit cards. I had to use one of those ATMs, I watched my statement like a hawk for a month after that.

I'm thinking about getting the Palm TX but the only real advantage for me would be browsing the web while I'm at the bar.

  14. Netflix round two on That Nagging Netflix Queue · · Score: 0

When I first got netflix it was awesome because I could catch up on legendary movies that I should see for the sake of seeing. After 6 months, it got to the point where I would have something like the original version of The Manchurian Candidate sitting on my dvd player for two weeks. I eventually canceled it, but I just rejoined. Now I'm more selective of the movies in my queue, making sure that I am actually going to watch the movie promptly when it arrives in my mail box so I can get the most out of the service.

But as far as the original perp goes, to be honest, I would doubt that the perp is a low-brow thief. More likely, the thief, if there WAS a thief, was someone on the inside at the VA, who knew EXACTLY what he, or she, was doing and what he, or she, was taking, and for exactly what purposes. I assumed all along that it was an "inside job" in one form or another. And if you assume that the guy who worked for the VA was in on it all along, you have to assume that the accomplishes would have researched exactly what needed to be done to steal the data and cover their tracks.
