Maybe it's just me, but I doubt they spent all that money on the rovers for just 90 days of operation. I'd be willing to bet that they designed them to last 3-5 years. Also, they were probably just setting expectations *really* low, so if the rovers failed early then they still looked good in the public eye.
I read an interview with one of the scientists somewhere where he admitted to taking a page out of Scotty's (i.e. Star Trek) playbook. Scotty was training a junior engineer and told him something to this effect. "When the captain asks you how long it will take to fix a problem, if you determine hat it will take one hour, tell him three. When you finish it in a liesurly two hours you come out a hero"
You make some interesting arguments and while I don't completely disagree, I'm not totally convinced GW won in 2004. Ohio still looks awfully fishy to me. When was the last time you have seen exit polls so out of line with official results? And none of it auditable? We all know about Diebold.
Yes, far too many Americans voted out of ignorance and fear, and are reaping their rewards, but the process was corrupted
Okay, so here's an idea. Each vote is given a unique ID#. Voters are asked to enter their information twice, and each iteration is sent to a different remote log and compared
The problem here is that many voters will not enter the same information twice.
Yes, I do recommend other antivirus solutions, usually NOD32, but many users are reluctant to remove NAV. This is often because they do not like to feel that they have wasted their subscription fees.
Seriously. Considering how good NAV is at sucking up memory and CPU cycles, the only way anyone probably noticed was when their computer suddenly seemed much smoother and more responsive.
I agree. I am a computer services provider for mostly home users and I often find NAV and internet tools to be single greatest contributor to draining system resources. I usually recommend disabling NAV, using safe internet practices, and scanning weekly or if there appears to be a problem.
It does not matter that congress authorized the use of military force. This administration has clearly stepped outside the law with this type of surveillance. FISA was established for this very reason. The administration is backpedalling because GW Bush has publicly admitted to an impeachable offense and they can't put that genie back in the bottle.
It would be nice, for a change, to hear of some specific examples of how the government has used its powers beyond the reasonable scope of national security.
Watch the movie "Unconstitutional - The War on Our Civil Liberties". It lists multiple well documented and specific examples of how the Patriot Act has been abused over the last four years. A torrent is available and I, for one have been seeding it for a month so you are welcome to it.
It is referring to the chemical energy of the fuel cells. All electrical energy derived from batteries is converted chemical energy

Very Interesting, Thanks
I didn't know this. Please reply with a link if possible

No, just a facist takeover through a manipulated electoralprocess
THE Senate ... sorry
I for one am planning to write a letter of protest and sending it to every member of he Senate.

Oh, and I always install Microsoft Anti-Spyware
By the way, I was wondering how long it would be before somebody called me on this.
You are correct, I should clarify

On top of that, a lot of the prostitutes discriminate by race as well.

I think Hillary is going to be drafted

Better than that. The calls have already been transcribed
It was a joke.
I was referring to the amount of vulnerabilities listed for each.
Firefox: 1
Explorer: 45
Explorer wins!
But can you call them suckers? People are actually clicking through the ads. Seems like they are getting better than they paid for.
In Firefox, with the greasemonkey extension, you can add a script called "remember password" and remember passwords for any site.
