Guess I was lucky in that everyone I speak to has MSN Messenger, which IMO is the better one:)
All personal opinion I guess, but anything to remove AOL from the top of somethign makes me happy
with a lens 30 metres in diameter, to clear our now-fuzzy images of the end of the universe are trying to raise money for the project. They say it will take $750 million and 10 years to build the telescope.
Slashdot built in! Also it seems to take better use of my screen space, more customisation is possible, it has MY weather - not weather from 50 miles away from me, I use Hotmail more than Gmail (due to pain of updating), and actually easier and nicer to use, IMO
Considering still 90% of people, inc me, use a Windows environment, having your software work on it is not a bad idea, unless you want to cut 90% of your market off without even trying.
Get people onto free open source software and they may try your OS. I wouldn't have tried Linux if I hadn't tried OSS such as Firefox/OO, yes it's silly but I didn't know about it before them.
Ahh, I remember my optimistic days, one day common sense would come through, people wouldn't be uptight, cut off, out of touch and politicians would tell the truth.
Its great that a lot of the people opting out think this will save them, when all you need to do is visit local library and get entire book to read for free. Surely this is worse?
A Broacast Flag is a set of status bits (or "flags") sent in the data stream of a digital television program that indicates whether or not it can be recorded...
Possible restrictions include... forceful reduction of quality when recording (such as reducing high-definition video to the resolution of standard TVs), and inability to skip over commercials.

Loudly complain, move to Google Talk/MSN Messenger
I pick Micro$oft over AOHell anyday
Very good, and thanks to you I found this, and that highlights the one thing Google is doing wrong, they don't show new products/services off well.
Mine didn't automatically do this, but a quick help->update and all sorted, thanks again Slashdot for keeping me up to date :)
Yet I bet it comes with more protection next release.
Let us use OUR downloads as WE want. That means any player, any time, as long as I own it. Until then I will download for free or rip from CD.
Rose.exe has caused an error in vase and will now be stopped
You tell me, which is 30 metres in diameter
Lets hope they pick Hawaii, problem solved
$750 million 10 years to build! This better have some hi-def images of little green men at the end of it
Thank You :)
Updated nice and easily (with only 1 extension not working, though it did in Beta 2)
Same problem here. I can't see anything to update with.
Might be I'm from the UK

Well it beats Opera, which gets nothing, not even a nice error bar!
And it seems the same except the sidebar which seems a bit squashed in Firefox
Seems to be working OK in Firefox at the moment, and I don't know about you, but this beats Google IG in my opinion!
Wow, did I just say that

Nope, it means they will pay $150m, standard rate. Special offer, sue them twice, get $450m
The same way they would in the USA, they wouldn't except for a few who abided by the rules. Everyone else woudl ignore it.
Google's proposed scheme only gives you a small section of the book though, with a library you get the whole thing

Not really, but it looked cool ;)
Wow, this is amazing. Shows what innovation and imagination can prduce.
