  2. mapquest / google on Google Terror Threat · · Score: 1

Mapquest has provided satellite photos alot longer then Google maps, so why wasn't this a concern then? This is probably a division of Microsoft "disguised" as a terrorist, and plans to take down Google.

I didn't know they had computers in Iran. Maybe they only use them for hacking, and not for checking up on news, or reading about the diffrences between Government Agencies and Operating Systems.

  6. A new form of pollution on Phoenix Mars Lander Hits Halfway Point · · Score: 1

How many will they put on that planet before realizing that it's going to hit a rock and get stuck?
But seriously, let's wish the Phoenix luck, it will need it with all of that burning down to ashes and reincarnating itself that will be doing these next few years. (:

My favorite feature between both Firefox and FirefoxIE is that FirefoxIE's 'Home' button has a chimney... what house/browser is complete with out it (well besides mine of course)?

When the roll-out is complete, Unwired's service will be available to 66% of the population, Wallace said.

I like how easily accessible Internet is becoming. I still know people that either can not afford it, or have it so slow that they don't use it.

WiMax is a nice idea, but hopefully it won't be replaced or hacked right away. What about p2p over these networks? Will the speeds be evenly distributed between clients? You know people are going to try and leech/abuse their privalege

How on earth would 'Live' work? It took a long time for google to just capture stills of the Earth, so unless they're only going to have the satellites in certain spots, wouldn't they have to have hundreds of them? Maybe they'd have to put more lens on the satellite, I dont know. Well whatever they're doing.. I want dibs on beta. ;)

Why not sign up..? Everyone in the world will eventually be controlled by google anyways, so at least join now so you don't look like an ass in the future. ;) Also, I think google would have no reason to steal the information of every middle class person in America. If you're a billionaire, I can see why you would avoid google; if not, what do you have to lose? A Ford F150 and a two story house? Comes as a small price for such great services.
