    I've had accounts at Citibank and HSBC and IBM's local credit union, the credit union was by far the worst of the bunch, making up charges left and right, changing rules, fee schedules and pretty much anything they could, they're the only bank I have ever seen charge for your initial batch of checks, not only that, not telling you they would charge you for them

    Considering how Microsoft went after ebay for copies of it software, you'd think the MPAA would go after it for DVD's if they fell under First Sale, or Half.com or Amazon's used section or, well the list goes on for quite a while

    actually both my aapc ups's have usb out, one i bought 3 years ago, the other i bought last week, it kinda annoys me, i'd rather have serial, one cable is actually a rj45 looking connector but with 10 pins going to a usb connector at the other end, weird

    they're not required to sell to you if they don't want to, if their policy is credit card only, then tough, you can pay your credit card company with cash

    why should it piss you off? thats the us government's mandate from the constitution, to provide defense and security, or would you rather each state have it's own army, navy, air force, and coast guard? it's supposed to do the things the states themselves can't or won't reasonably do

    i left out the marines on purpose, as they're glorified navy, never has been it's own branch, probably never will be

    26 hours ago as of right now according the cvs at freebsd, i had it fixed before i knew it was a problem

    Update to 2.2.7 which is mostly a security release, but fixes other minor bugs.

    except it isn't true, black friday may be the day most people are out, but most people don't buy anything that day anymore, i worked in a warehouse for a music/weird crap chain last year, black friday is calm compared to the two weeks before xmas

    i know it's not freebsd, but netbsd runs on pretty much any mac you can throw at it, and almost any sparc, alot of sgi's... your grandmother's toaster, a couple of cell phones, some lightswitches, a phonebook, a horse collar, you get the idea

    tho i prefer freebsd myself

    i'm on roadrunner, and it's kind of disturbing to see all the hits i get on ports 137-139, and why would i want to get them anyways?
    TCP 137 NETBIOS Name Service
    TCP 138 NETBIOS Datagram Service
    TCP 139 NETBIOS Session Service
    those ports i explicitly anyways, i don't want them in or out

    suppose i am employee of some company that wants to use it under the gpl, if it's strict gpl i can license it to my company with only the restrictions of the gpl, now if he's using a modified gpl that another thing, i suppose he means that if you want a different license so the commercial company doesn't have to release the code
