No, not Mary. Without any other context to go on? I specifically said who the "wife" is. You even quoted it!

What does that do to 'Made In God's Image'? What becomes of the Fall...and hence of the need for Christ's salvation?

Nothing. These three concepts are absolutely not mutually exclusive with the idea that evolution was the process God used to create Man.

Which is exactly the problem. Evolution allows people to be atheists. It undermines the power of the religious establishments and they hate that.

You're 100% correct about this. However 'religious establishments' oftentimes have little to do with what they supposedly represent. Too often they are only interested in shoring up their numbers instead of practicing what they preach.

Having something in place that 'allows people to be atheists', as you put it, is a good thing. God doesn't want people who want nothing to do with him. Better to have people as being outright atheists than fake Christians. Lord knows there's enough of those running around...

There's a decent amount of evidence that Yahweh had a wife at one point but she got edited out later.

Yahweh does have a "wife": Israel. And via his "wife" he had a single child: Yehoshua (Jesus). The theme of Israel being the bride/wife of Yahweh is a consistent one throughout the Jewish holy writings, with the theme of "adultery" meaning the people chasing after other gods.

I think your prof may have been confused by the various jaunts into polytheism that the ancient Hebrews so frequently took (He probably thought "Asherah" was supposed to be Yahweh's wife, eh?).

The problem with EA that this article reveals to me is that EA has mixed goals. EA wants to make the highest quality games and they want to make a substantial profit. So to make the high quality games they hire and purchase the top level talent in the industry. However after they have this talent they don't give them any creative freedom and put them on projects that they have no interest in because it makes business sense. One goal is standing in the way of the other.

You'd think it would be intuitively obvious that the creation of games requires a 'playful' (for lack of a better word) environment rather than a business one (and vice versa). I guess this kind of explains the stereotype that the 'suits' ruin anything that's enjoyable. ;-)
