Chances are nothing would be ironic... the only people that care very much are those that know more about computers than how to turn it on. Microsoft just made it so they go "Okay" and it's gone. They won't hold it against Sony in the least bit.

I think it's stupid to do a lawsuit when you can just get another one. Is it because his ego was damaged due to his imperfect xbox after he stayed up all night waiting in line to get it? Seriously, it is a game console; if you stayed up all night that is your problem, and if it doesn't work right you have the right to get one that does work, but not to sue because you weren't able to impress all the 1337 ch1ck5 on your block. Lemon law man... you don't sue the car company that offers to replace the car because it wouldn't start after the first day of use... it's not like you had emotional scarring (and if you did, over a malfunctioning xbox, then you have bigger issues).
I got myself a 54G a while ago to cut down on noise and the power stuff, I saw linux and thought it looked pretty cool. Man did I love it. I used Sveasoft for a long while, until I tried out DD-WRT. I've been using DD-WRT without a lockup or reboot since the day v22-final2 came out... I like the static dhcp settings, and the internal dns! )I hate host files, since I change machines around a lot). It's been very good to me, and I would also suggest this to all my friends,in fact, many of them have gotten them, and a few have played with the firmwares.
Heck, even Earthlink uses them, they've released a wrt54g distro that can connect to an earthlink ipv6 gateway, and provides IPv6 addresses for your systems, and all the trimmings.
It's well known they violate GPL. They call their current releases "beta" and don't release them publicly until they're working on the new version (months or years behind). That's how they make money, you have to pay for the "beta".
Does for office (etc) what Windows Update does for Windows. It actually integrates the Office and Windows updates into the same thing, so it still just says "You have updates available" and lets you install them from the taskbar thing.
Before Apple switched to 10, before they used BSD, they were in no way insecure. There were many contests to hack a Mac box, it was never done. It's too bad they switched.
McAffee is worse than Norton. The only AV that I use is NOD32. I've never had a problem with it, it's tiny as far as resources taken, and it's price tag isn't really that high.
In the summer it got up to the high 90's... it wasn't that it's too cold here.
Maybe if they had some testers take it home to their apartments and let the kids play on it, instead of using it in an air conditioned compound, they would have had more luck.
AFAIK, none even mention keeping or deleting emails in any time period. I'd rather at least know that they're keeping them, then be in the dark about their possibly sinister plans.
That took advantage of the Messenger service (not to be confused with MSN/Windows Messenger), which would pop up nice windows saying "Tired of these popups", and the like. I did also see a few viagra ads and such when I was running insecure once.
They're popular because you can send them out with something like net send * Blah blah...
It's even easier with make install... it will copy it to /boot for you and even make symlinks! As long as your grub points to vmlinuz, you're set.
The [sic] sell fone quakulator doesn't support numbers that large!!
I wouldn't say self-aware, as that implies feeling and thought outside of some program. Self-recognition might be a better description?
My dual core AMD and my nvidia 7800 disagree with you.
Call of Duty 2 looks much better on my PC than it does when I play it at the gaming store on their HDTV.
I will not buy an xbox 360, as most anything I would play will also come out onto the PC.
Taking a year to patch 400 clients shows you obviously have never heard of sus... it's quite easy to force out patches to users :)
Yay for European colonialism screwing Africa for the next however many centuries!

That's USE="door" you dolt!!!
Man, I've for years thought I spelled armor wrong because I'd always add a "u". I really do live in the wrong place...
If you had a "primary gaming machine" you'd talk about games, not how many hard disks it has.
That is, of course, why you see so many blank, beige gamer boxes....
Only 800 gold? Man, I could like totally get myself an awesome nightsaber mount for less than that.
Umm... I beg to differ.
;) It isn't a bot.
Checked for World of Warcraft gold on ebay recently? Who do you think earns that stuff
I believe that he would if the person volunteered. Nobody has to go to an ultra-controlling school.
Uh... Kazaa not spyware ridden? Since when?

Umm. I'm confused. Linksys is owned by Cisco... they release firmware for the boxes... how is this not Cisco doing an adaptation?
