    Integrated motherboard graphics are on the same playing field as a gf5500. The gf5 series PC card isn't manufactured anymore. 5 series was a failure for nVidia letting ATI take the market.

    The price is bad for what you get, a medium quality 128kbps music file. Many of us have 5.1 sound systems, it would be nice if AC3 files were available to take advantage of that.

    It duals as my PVR and fileserver. I could have made it a 900GB RAID5 array but then the disk wouldn't show up as 1.12TB; which makes my epenis huge.

    Apples hardware is no different then Dells or any other pc manufacturer. They all buy their hardware from 3rd party manufactures how is Apples hardware any superior? excluding the huge hike in prices that falsely leads mac owners to feel like they're getting better hardware.

    The free-radical element called oxygen; it's needed in the brain. So while decreasing brain tumors and other cell mutation defects we also decrease our intelligence. There is always a positive and negative reaction to everything. This anti-oxidant drink fad is somewhat like oxygenated water in a way. But I do like people drinking green tea instead of coffee. I hate coffee drinkers more then smokers some times; horribly breath and their cars smell like coffee makers.

    Thx for the link. It's amazing that over 90% of France's electricity is nuclear or hydro. Maybe it's because they didn't grow up learning about nuclear waste by watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and The Simpsons.

    Part of their popularity comes from the fact that scientists and engineers have a much higher status in France than in America. Many high ranking civil servants and government officials trained as scientists and engineers (rather than lawyers, as in the United States), and, unlike in the U.S. where federal administrators are often looked down upon, these technocrats form a special elite. Many have graduated from a few elite schools such as the Ecole Polytechnic. According to Mandil, respect and trust in technocrats is widespread. "For a long time, in families, the good thing for a child to become was an engineer or a scientist, not a lawyer. We like our engineers and our scientists and we are confident in them."

    i dunno...i would rather use hard disks personally. in my ecxperience, they fail in a less catastrophic way. have a few errors....back it up and get a new HDD. with flash memory, when it fails, it FAILS. the end

    But when is the last time your hard drive has been through the wash and still worked afterwards?

    I had no idea Apple made hard drives. Oh that's right, they don't; Apple only makes software and sells it's OS bundled with X-brand hardware. Hardware which Apple clearly does not make; Apple is merely a middle man who puts the pieces together like a monkey could then hikes up the price 10 fold.

    One problem; not all Sony products have the Sony brand name. For example.. LiteOn, Epic Records, Columbia Records, Aiwa, the list goes on to probly over 100 names... which are all fully Sony owned subsidiaries.

    It would be nice if someone could compile a list of the Sony empire to make an effective boycott.
