    If you really want LINUX on your laptop and dont want to hassle of 2 partitions on the tiny weenie laptop HDD, Use a live Distro, yes the speed is not there yet, but it works like a charm, witeless 802.11 b/g, external USB HDD, graphics card. I go with UBUNTU live distro and is just perfect on my thinkpad.

    I dont really see the point. I was using a 6 MBPS, now moved up to 30 MBPS wireless connection here -> courtesy My ISP , but i am not sure i have gained any major speed advantage because of this. And now 100 MBPS, without the back bone of the servers increasing accordingly.

    Provided the timelines and sh** from business guys that you get all the time, there is limited time available for any user to make programming an art.

    But having said that, there is nothing stopping any programmer worth his salt to do cool and interesting that people can appreciate and admire, then its truly is art
