    Just FYI, texting in a lot of southern Indian states is free, or close to it. Entire conversations are held over text messages..It has degenerated to a point where people send messages that simply say 'k' or '...'

    These networks are GSM.

    It would be like the US trying to extradite someone from Amsterdam for smoking pot. What if Iran decided it wants to extradite someone for breaking their laws?
    Uhhh...wrong analogy.

    Country X will never accept any sort of an extradition treaty where the terms would allow Country Y to haul in someone for something that is legal in Country X. If the laws of two countries are way too different, then there generally wouldn't exist an extradition treaty, because they could never agree on way too many points.

    In summary, good show on the first paragraph, OP, but the 2nd para's just too much of a disconnect :-)

    People act differently when they're being watched.
    And that isn't just empirical. I forget the name of the experiment, but a study was done to test the effects of lighting levels on office employee productivity, and the reseachers saw that whatever the lighting levels, the productivity rose!

    Why? Because these employees were aware of being watched..

    HD content from a Blu-ray or HD-DVD disc requires quite a bit of processing power; Cyberlink recommends using a dual-core processor like the Intel Pentium D, Core 2 Duo or AMD Athlon X2. As a graphics card you should at least use a nVidia GeForce 7600 or ATI Radeon X1600 series with a minimum of 256MB video memory.
    Nice. And that's just for watching movies. At least we now know who Microsoft's been collaborating with to ensure everyone buys new machines...
