Apple clearly invented everything and Nokia didn't. Apple has existed since the 50's when they signed the Beetles then became a computer company in the 70's once John left the band. Nokia didn't start to exist until they invented Snake in the early 90's and coasted on that fame up until snake 2 and diminishing returns on their Snake based empire. I'm glad that lawyers exist to punish companies that aren't Apple for stealing from Apple.

Who spells their name as Graeme? I'll tell you who. the principal editor of the Oxford fucking dictionary, that's who.
You're right. I'm not trying to claim they're ethical, I'm just pointing out how bad this list is and companies in general are.
It's just a sad fact of reality that we're so used to being screwed over by these sociopathic entities that when one acts slightly less evil than another, they get put on a list of ethical companies.
business ethics in this day and age is non-existent.
IBM screwed up, sure, but when all was said and done they had to live with it. MS ultimately succeeded in stopping DR-DOS with Windows 95. But the point was that the PC architecture was open not that microsoft worked hard to undermine the competition in the software space.
You missed the point. The PC won the war because there was competition and clones. Apple didn't have allow clone manufacturers and actively worked to stop them. That is why IBM and MS deserve credit for the PC. Not for the device itself, but for creating an open architecture that was adaptable by others and induced competition.
Apple is only leading the industry in marketing, as your post proves.
Really though, Microsoft generally doesn't lock down their OS from tinkering (aside from lack of source), and unless windows mobile 7 has changed things you have file manager access and everything in their mobile platform. Android inexplicably doesn't come with a file manager last I checked. Absurd!
And unlike Sony, they aren't sending cease and desist letters to kinect hackers.
It is thanks to Microsoft (And IBM) we have the PC after all.
And they could easily be far worse patent trolls than they currently are.
I'm sure the consequences are of great concern to these internet vigilantes. It's one thing to go after these people, but they're deathly afraid of the cyber police.
ummm......... that meme (and probably no meme) has never originated on digg. Also, nobody actually uses digg because it is a piece of garbage. This post is off topic, but I stand by its importance.

well, depends on how you define "good idea". the rarer it is, the more a comic is worth. So if your goal was to increase the value of Action Comics #1, it was a brilliant idea.
I comprehend perfectly well what it means. How dare you link me to TV tropes. What did I ever do to you?

well, thats not exactly true. If you bought rare comics, then you were good and you're doing better today than if you invested in Gold. If you bought 500 copies of Spawn #1 , or Youngblood #1, you're an idiot.

Archie Comics spokesman mentioned the whole "we're not going to have any women in refrigerators" just because we're dropping the comics code, which is somewhat ironic, as the woman in that particular refrigerator came to be as a direct result of the comics code authority interference. Originally in the Green Lantern story the incident occurred in, the woman in question was supposed to be brutally murdered, but the comics code didn't want people to see a murdered woman, so instead, they had her put in the refrigerator and alluded to it instead. Nice work, comics code.
He seems to presume that life is biological. Who says a galaxy isn't alive? Who knows if rocks on the sands of a beach on some other planet aren't alive. Who knows, the universe itself might be a conscious entity.
This is hardly next generation. There isn't even a saucer section to separate. Where is the holodeck? This isn't even a galaxy class starship. NASA is so far behind it's going backwards. I bet they don't even do warp 3.
There you go, turn the ghosts into different colored cartoon spiders, turn pacman into the green gobbler, call the game green gobbler, inspired by pacman, and nobody could possibly sue you, except marvel comics maybe.
Has anyone got the idea of using kinect with Blender for motion capture animation? Might make the animation process easier. Make your own Avatar style 3D movie in a couple weeks perhaps.
If it has a micro or mini HDMI slot and a front facing camera, and android 3.0, then I shall buy this phone. Why carry a DS and a phone when I can have them together in one contraption.
AT THE SAME TIME!!!
Ah damnit, I was gonna say it was powered by The Power of Greyskull.
SABAM already has a system in place to extract fees from businesses for having radios in the work area for businesses with more than 9 employees
how nice for them
Who did they throw money at in order to get such a nonsensical perk?
but everything else I said was 100% wikipedia accurate.

But I'm expecting the Vietnamese to start a revolution on this. Though it's probably easily bypassable.

well, can't have people know that a socialist utopia such as Canada with its death panels and socialized medicine can come up with important research.
Granted, I do believe a lot of stem cell research ended up in Canada because of the American distaste for embryonic stem cells.
Either way, yay us. Yay Science.
