    Wrong.

    She was elected to Parliament by the voters of Maidenhead and subsequently elected as party leader by the Conservatives. Under the Westminster system, that's as elected as it gets.

    It's more accurate to say that English is a Germanic language that's had the Romance verb system bolted onto it. (E.g. no other Germanic language has progressive tenses.)

    I've lived in Sweden for some years, and I've never seen horsemeat for sale in any of the shops here. OTOH, it's not at all difficult to get reindeer.

    Please don't project the fact that *you* experimented in college and discovered you're happy with either onto the rest of us.

    I, too, had the opportunity to experiment way back when and very rapidly found out that other guys don't do a thing for me.
