    I do think you're correct about a black market for computer repair being created.

    And what's wrong with that? If the government is stupid, the economy will route around it. That's how it always been.

    In Hungary in the 80s, the black economy was basically supporting the country, while the legal one went downhill. Of course it eventually collapsed, but it would have been much sooner, had everyone obey the laws.

    Just make sure you won't go down the same path.

    Btw that was a communist regime, and they tried to prop up the dying economy with loans we still haven't fully repaid. Sounds familiar? It might soon.

    The default vi colors on a fresh Gentoo install are absolutely beautiful, easy to read, and in my experience helps with eye strain too.

    They're arguing that YouTube gets more viewership from copyrighted materials than non-copyrighted stuff, and they want the viewer logs to prove that

    Viacom also requested YouTube's source code, the code for identifying repeat copyright infringement uploads, copies of all videos marked private, and Google's advertising database schema.

    What the fuck does Viacom think? And why is the judge agreeing with them?

    There is always going to be overselling. It is the only economical way to do it.

    Sorry, that's not my problem. I just want what I paid for.

    If the ISP cannot deliver what they sold me, I'm not the one to blame nor the one to persuade to live with it.

    There are countries where there is true free market, and believe me, it works. If an ISP would try to oversell here in Hungary, they would die overnight.

    Fix the market, not the costumer.

    We use these machines to place the parts on Blackberry motherboards. They're pretty accurate too.

    And I'm not even in the developed part of Europe, either.

    My current connection is 5M/1M, for [6900 HUF = 44.2773 USD].

    In a sense, then, the magic 640 KB limit really is a DOS relic. Other operating systems, like Linux, never had that limit. Well, duh. DOS was real mode, Linux started out as 386 only.
