This is the point. Hitler may or may not have considered himself a Christian, but many who did followed him and his logic. I would also argue that Christians of many denominations were very embarassed by what their followers did to help the extermination of Jews, homosexuals, jehovahs witness, etc. You can see this by how they try to find the one or two of their denomination that actually stood up to Hitler. They write books, make documentaries, trying to cover up the fact that the vast majority did not live up to their so called higher morality provided by being followers of Christ.

But I'm sending a signal to the Democrats that I think they are becoming too much like the Republicans. Now come to the next Presidential elections. The Democratic nominee knows he has to somehow placate those voters that like Nader to still win a majority in a state where they are strong and win its electoral votes.

The real nightmare comes when the specification changes. So instead of just changing your code. You have to also change this psuedo code, oops contract. Plus I'm guessing you still have end-to-end tests, all of which get rewritten. All this may eliminate are the unit tests, which for me were the easiest to code and in many cases a visual inspection would do. Now you have to maintain this contract and your code. Seems like more trouble then it is worth.

The DoD tried with Ada to design a language that eliminates a lot of the coding mistakes, but it just wasn't embraced. It just seems we are attempting to layer security on top of an inherently insecure software language.

After a few months I was able to converse freely with all of them, I even came to the point that I would translate (restate) what a student from India was saying to someone from China. They love unmotivated, apathetic voters. Because they know once elected it is very hard to be defeated. If more people voted then they would have to be more representative versus just being beholden to a few voters/special interest groups.

It is for this reason I don't believe the /. crowd can have much of an effect. We have similiar beliefs regarding say privacy and technology.
