  1. Which countries exactly are at risk of submersion? on Floating Houses Designed For Low-Lying Countries · · Score: 0

We've been looking at the weather for thousands of years. Historic records of permanently submerged civilizations seem to be nebulous at best (Noah in Atlantis maybe?)

The next hundred years is a ways off. At least several more emerging "the sky is falling" hysterical periods will occur as we gain a better understanding of the ecosystem that is our home. We've already moved from the "Global Warming" to the "Climate Change" hysterical model in just the last decade.

I hate the way the NIMBYs have turned into BANANAS (Build Absolutely Nothing Anywhere Near Anyone). The good news is, the science is finally coming to light, and it doesn't look good for the man made global warming alarmists of the eco-industrial-complex. Hopefully we will be shut of this madness before it damages the credibility of legitimate environmental concerns. I'd hate to see us stop trusting legitimate environmental science to the point we end up dumping toxic substances into our air and water again...

Interesting concept. Fighting a flat enemy seems like trying to smash an invasion of locusts with a hammer. You have to change the rules or the tools. To me, decriminalization and regulation seem like an excellent approach to the war on drugs. I'm having a hard time applying that to the current struggle against murderous assholes though.

My question is: What should we do about them?

Right now we're killing 'em, but that seems inefficient. We have hammers, bu as you say, they are flat. What if we change the rules?

Pay more than the Taliban for the Afghan's Poppies right at the source. We're already there and have a strong presence? 2 birds, one stone. People like customers, Al Qeada loses $$, we get some smack to control as we see fit.
