A good idea if they're the cause of the emergency. Nobody will know quickly enough if the government takes over if we don't have our fastest means of mass communication
That's really insightful, and I'd give you a +1 for it. You're completely right that the introduction of our will could very well be us, without knowing due to barriers beyond science, changing a quantum particle from a superposition into one of it's potential positions. In fact, there's no proof that the essence of a person's mind actually is created on this plane of existence, lending a large amount of potential to this argument.
Plus after a certain number of ganks you can't rez in enemy territory at a tiki, then you can't even come back through a portal if you survive that long. They seriously did alot about the ganking problem.
It's also for anyone who preordered. We were all stuck playing 1.0, they had better let us in on some 1.5 action before the beginning of headstart. Thre's alot of changes to the game between the 2 versions.
Don't be embarrassed for not getting politics shoved down your throat. You can hang up on a robot, and they wouldn't even know.
I think this is the wrong way to go about this. They should require every line used for marketing calls to show up on caller ID as "Marketing", and every call for political reasons to show up as "Political". Then people don't have to answer at all. You can add in a registry to keep people from calling, or you can require phone companies to block numbers with that name on the ID to a given number if you really want. The phone company idea would be my preference, as it's really easy to block numbers on our AT&T wireless lines on the net, and there should be no reason you can't do it on a land line just as easily.
Put it in perspective: in the other half of the world (the middle east+some of southeast asia+africa+oceania-australia) we would be considered the most extreme leftists. That would put us right in the middle of all of you.
I think in many places they set an age at 18 because everyone's sure to be done maturing mentally and emotionally enough to handle the consequences of adult activities. Even though a 16 year old might be physically mature, that doesn't mean it can't harm their mental or emotional state.
Yeah, letting everyone run around and do anything they wanted would be great. Everyone from Charles Manson, to guys who rob banks with M4's wearing full body armor. That would be amazing for keeping the conveniences and luxuries we have as of now. I mean, I don't think in a world without any repercussions there would be any threat to the couch I sit on. It'll still be there when I get back from work, if I get back from work.
There is no creative work in putting the same notes on a new sheet of paper. Regardless of tediousness, doing so is not copyrightable (I wish it was! I'd destroy every copier, fax and printer in the world and be the richest man to have ever existed!). That is, unless they add a new ending to that symphony, or actually use a different notation. From what I understand, music has been written on the same type of format for a long time now in western culture. It would be like the concept of translating a book, in that it's a "different language", or a different symbolic representation thereof.
As for the recording, that would be correct as it takes actual artistry to perform the work. A different person, or even the same person at a different time, inst going to play the song exactly the same.
Yeah, on our TV shows and movies (not even an ad!) they have to blank out product names on Coke cans, cars, etc. They tend to drive one umbrella company's cars exclusively, for example GM or Ford if they leave the logo. I imagine using it in an advertisement for a competing product, as opposed to a movie that's an entertainment piece, would be suicide.
Except to outlaw spam, and take out their severs. Then you can outlaw botnets that are installed without knowledge. Then you can actually try to find the people behind it, and sentence them to a day in prison for each piece of spam they sent, for each person involved with the operation. That would very quickly rack up a life sentence for many of them.
Seemingly rational beliefs are persistent because people think for themselves less and less when the explanation gets more rational, regardless as to how true it is.
It sure helped.

When the guy with the big dick is holding both a carrot and a stick, it's easier to aim your kick.
I don't think they rationalized it. They thought about how other people can rationalize it.
....and ultimately destroying a massively corrupt republic.

At least they give run speed scrolls.

*jumps for joy*
Since when is this?

Nobody's ready to deal with having a kid at 16, so it's wise that they try and keep that from happening. troll.

Government and the *AA groups liken copyright infringement to theft, as they compare pirating music to stealing a CD.
Yeah, bandaids until you need a cast, casts until you have a bone replacement. We seem to be at an early cast type of phase.

So, where's your example?
Yeah, because Microsoft is going to tell you how to do it.
They wouldn't be able to use the Apple logo anyway. You can't put someone else's trademark in your own promotional materials!
Especially when the product you're making look better is a product someone's getting paid for.
