    Yes, the police departments may end up being sued. Then again they are going into this with an eye for how the information they are giving out will look to drunks.

    It may not be illegal but it may make them liable for damage and death's caused by drunk drivers who do use the apps.

    If you RTFA you will know that this company is showing signs of going down hill. Within the context of what TFA said(and admittedly some assumptions by me) I would be looking at a exit strategies rather than complaining about losing my monitor. There are some situations where TFA's facts made sense but even then the company would be recovering from mismanagement or things are looking bad for that management group.

    On top of that they need to keep employees from hurting not just their business but their reputation if the information is misleading. Say, the information is wrong they're still checking it and it gets leaked and attributed them.

    I have to disagree because a customer base that is no profitable could still keep a open source project alive and new improvements added might revive popularity of a project.. Although I agree with 1-6 so it is moot point.

    Your Open graphics project was in a rapidly changing field and dependent on IC fabricators who want and are geared toward large batches. Most of the machinery they want to make is established technology and they are attempting to use only generic materials to make these machines.

    Then there is methanol: arguably a better fuel than ethanol and was already in use in California and race cars. That was defeated by the farm lobby.

    Many drunk drivers aren't rational enough while sober let alone drunk to stop driving while under the influence.

    I'm unsure that any one has tapped into the full potential the Kinect. This is probably the first time Ms has been serious about developing a Xbox. As opposed to the original hack job or the farmed out 360. Hopefully their corporate culture won't kill the projects honest effort.

    The US does have separate colleges (that do not usually include residency) within universities how separate depends on the university. This is also further complicated by each state having their own system and private institutions.
