Benching weights increases muscle mass which will actually raise your BMI. You need a cardiovascular workout. To burn energy you need something that increases your breathing and makes you sweat and burn calories quickly. Suggesting benching weights as a way to lose weight is insane.
I suggest www.stronglifts.com. I found it a while ago and it's been a great resource. There's some awesome success stories in the forums!
I could care less about taking pictures. Just a slight point here, but this phrase is so completely botched all the time, that I had to say something.
I think what you meant to say was, "I couldn't care less about taking pictures." As in, your level of caring for taking pictures is so low already, that it could not get any lower.
I think that is what confused the author of the other reply to your post. Either that, or he/she was just being cynical. Of course, maybe I am too.
Cheers. Oh, and if I'm wrong, please tell me so I may correct myself in the future.
I'd like to add a quote to this discussion that seems to let people think a little more clearly...
"It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it." - Aristotle
Simple, but effective.
When you say it's "easy", are you aware that previous versions of Windows didn't even need a special key that depended on hardware, and that you didn't need to call Microsoft to ask "can I please install the copy of Windows I purchased from you a couple of years ago?" only to be interrogated about why you need a new key.
In all honesty, I've had to call them multiple times to install XP when I would reformat. If the repairs to your computer number enough to warrant that many reinstallations, you get the same "cannot activate" crap that many users with Vista will encounter. To me, this is just more of the (albeit bad) same.
So, hypothetically, are you saying that I could get a mound of dust particles on mars to take on my body's characteristics, but then my actual body here on earth would randomly get changed somehow (i.e. - some amorphous blob or something)?
That blows my mind thinking on that large of a scale...
I guarantee you that was also one of the reasons Steve did not show off, or even include, the 'special features' that Apple has yet to release to the public. It's already been stated once or twice how all of the features that *are* included have already been shown in one form or another on previous operating systems. So, even if the beta did get "into the wild" (which it did), it's really not that big of a deal.
Being from the US, I can barely understand the bias of papers from across the pond. That said, what papers would you recommend to eliminate as much bias, and get as much of an impartial story, as possible?
I know this is more of a personal reply, but you didn't mention the other side of the issue. Unless of course, you consider all papers too biased...
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but do you have to pay for updates to the system? It mentions a 60-day support time for the desktop version...am I missing something?
Sony has stated they have no real answer for Halo 3. Sony's tech demos and specs were less than overwhelming. Even Microsoft, who seemed to enjoy rising with Sony to the top during the last console generation, has come out to say that they're siding with Nintendo (alright, not literally, but you know what I mean). Finally, sony announces that they will most likely raise prices a 'bit' above the already high $59.
Someone's smoking something, and if it screws up their logic this badly, I might just want some.
Yet another story I managed to find on Digg earlier in the day.
It's making Digg seem more and more like the Lease Common Denominator.
I have to wait 3 hours for intelligent conversation, which I guess is the trade-off.:-P
Sony has been very disappointing recently. I don't know what's wrong with their business side of things...their decisions with music services, the quality of their products, and especially playing 'copy-cat' don't seem to make much sense.

Go home EA, you're drunk.
I saw that TV show too!

My mistake. Thank you.

Nothing for you to see here. Please move along. Wow, they even got Slashdot!

I'm not sure about that, but I do know it is the first Nintendo console with a Zelda title at launch.

I actually think the last one on that page is slightly more relavent.

They've been smart and successful for a long time, they're realizing that, ironically, their success is catching up to them.

Didn't they use the basis of this game as a tech demo for the Gamecube at one point?
(You know, to show of the polygon processing count)

The amount of ego this site employs is making me sick to my stomach.
