I'd recommend an eee pc from Asus. I've got mine running a slim version of windows XP, a 16gb sdhc card pops the free disk space to about 19gb, 2gb of ram, and with a bit of patching, you can even run oblivion on it (albeit at extremely low settings). I swiped this one off craigslist for 100 bucks a few days ago, so they're pretty cheap if you know where to look.
I'm in San Antonio TX right now, and Itunes has been so slow since thursday, to the point of being completely unusable. Whereas downloading albums or tv shows would take a few minutes, I'm now looking at an expected wait of 4 hours for a 3mb download. I thought it might have been issues with the itunes servers, but kudos to the article for shedding some light on the issue.
Modafinil is in widespread use because of its non-addictive properties. And it has also been used as a means to help people who are addicted to amphetamines. Just because Modafinil is schedule-IV , doesn't mean it has addictive properties.
Going to have to agree myself, running 2 desktops, 3 laptops, and the 360 on two access points, and I've noticed no interference. Seems like FUD to me.
I think a lot of us can agree that open source software like this should have been developed YEARS ago, so I'm glad to finally see a good alternative to MATLAB and Mathematica out, I was getting kind of tired of pirating my Mathematica software. Plus with the added benefit of being scripted in Python, I'm sure this project is going to take off like wildfire.
I remember way back when, drinking some belladonna tea to get the hallucinatory effects of atropine..
http://erowid.org/experiences/exp.php?ID=30718 My experience posted up on Erowid, gah it's scary stuff.
I hate to be the one to say it, but this has already been done in the past..

Though I assume this one is done non-invasively..
I'll be ariving in Vegas on the 1st for Defcon this year, so sneaking into Blackhat to see this presentation will definitely be on the top of my list of things to do.
It will be nice to start seeing these in our datacenters (hopefully sometime soon). Considering half of our servers are probably dell, that's a good 15k potential installations.
ServerBeach tried hiring me back in february, and tried telling me how more "laid back" they were than rackspace. Coming from a place where there are no drug tests, parties all the time, free training, etc. I really doubt it. I don't want to get into specifics, but I'll say that any place i can keep a tall one in my desk , is a place i want to be.
USAA Is on the list, and its considered one of the WORST places to work. My Company was voted #1 place to work in San Antonio, OVER USAA, and guess what? We're a TECH company (Rackspace Managed Hosting). I'm glad I don't base my career choices off of lists like these.

Yeah, cause printing money without anything backing up makes a lot more sense.

I'm betting google will come out with everything it intended to.

I'd do it one weekend, in assembly, on paper.
And it would probably compile in one shot.
Can someone explain how a 64bit processor can run 128 bit instructions, or what this actually means? Thanks
Here we go again. *sigh*

We're pretty much moving for sure, just finalizing some deals with the city.

Most of this guy's responses are , "we don't comment on that". not "we CANT", specifically, "we don't".
What was the joke about Tom Cruise Missiles?
It's April 2nd :)
