Why does this sound familiar? A bunch of nerds
forced to sleep in a gymnasium. It's O.K. Don't
wory about them. They will find a house and beat
those aweful Alpha Beta's! Let's just hope there's
not a sequel(or SQL...).
My problem with this, is that Microsoft is not trying to give the user better content, they are trying to make the entire internet their portal. It would be great if the browser noticed that the page was not in my native languange and offered to
translate it, or gave me references of technical words in technical pages, but since these are not (as far as I know) services provided by Microsoft these are not the kind of services provided.
chances are there is no ATM, Airline, or Missile defense control computer systems running on a bash shell script. At most my automatic comix downloader won't work:). I'm not saying there won't be any issues when this rolls over, but I think there is even less of a reason to worry about it then there was for the 2000 rollover.

* the possiblity of 10,000 individual lawsuits can be a BIG deterent. It's time for we the consumer to excersise our responsibiliy as one of the checks and balances against those buisiness practices we find abhorent.

he invention of the "tool" is causing
the average primate to lose his ability to work
with his hands. Is this the end of life as we know it?
I'm not saying this is a good thing, but let's think are we losing our ability to keep track of
what we are doing or are we preparing ourselves to
use our brains and bodies for something else?
I know I'm no expert but don't you sign an agreement with companies such as the cable providers agreeing to pay them to send the signal into your house. Now wireless or sattelite providers might be a different story.
This is similar to the stamp tax which we(at least those of us born in the U.S.) all learned in our fourth grade history class was one of the things leading to the American Revolution.
The british required people in the Americas to pay a tax to have each piece of paper stamped. Somehow we seem to have come remarkable far in the last 300 years.
It wouldn't be an issue if these sorts of tools were not so often abused by the people in positions to abuse them
kind of gives a sick and sadistic twist to
"Where do you want to go today?"

What if two smart cheaters meet in the same match?
Now that this is in the open, presumably the behavior will stop and it should be a lot easier
to get technical support as a customer!
I guess every cloud has a silicon lining... or something like that.

As a writer and editor for many game industry publications...
As a writer and editor for game industry I would think the concept of a paragraph would be clearer.
This explains the state of gaming publications.
hmmm what airports, I think I'll take the train:)
What about scrambling your mp3's with something simple and then the DCMA would protect you against
reverse engineering?

- The dog could pee on him and rust him.
- Einstein could use him to conduct electrisity
- The cat could choke on him and die(I'm allergic).
It would be fun for all ages!!!!Think before you post, foo.
Could BSDevel be.... Mr T?
Actually I believe it would be multiple intranets.

Can't you see it, the answer is obvious!!!!
I just wish I could remember what it was:)
Note the smiley faces in the article, this tends to denote a joke, or sarcasm.
This is the kind of thing I expect a Microsoft(tm) product user to overlook:)*
*Please note smiley face.

That's why I went into math
