  1. Apple Copied Creative on Apple Reportedly Testing Inductive, Solar and Motion Charging For Its Smartwatch · · Score: 0

They are still testing something like this? Samsung's Galaxy Gear came out already. The capability to quickly bring attractive and reliable products to market is a key factor in modern electronics industry.

Why are they testing this iPod thing? I mean Creative Labs and others have come out with MP3 players already. The ability to quickly bring attractive and reliable products to market is a key factor in modern electronics industry (so there isn't a hope in hell this iPod thing will ever be a commercial success).

The thing is that first to market is not everything. You also have to design the stuff you bring to market well and Apple has a history of appealing to customers by successfully reinventing/redesigning stuff that others have implemented badly and Apple evidently believes they can do it again.

I leave the whole quote just to show how history is being slowly rewritten. The short version is Apple ripped off Creative Labs Menu and ended with Apple agreeing to pay Creative $100 million US. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A...

The News here is that the Xbox is significantly crippled compared to the cheaper, less abusive opposition Sony!? Kinect is not the selling point to justify the Xbox's inflated Price. This is being reflected in the current sales numbers with worldwide sales being (almost) half that of that of the PS4 (or a little higher than the PS3) http://www.vgchartz.com/#This%.... The only other thing of note is software is no longer the significant factor it was in choosing a console. Personally though I have my eye on Android gaming.

Almost everyone here understands the model, yet you persist in this transparent lie. Interestingly search Microsoft's and Apple EULA using the search for what they do with trusted *cough* third partys.

The Control they have with Carriers forcing none Apple users again to pay for Apples products. I would argue their control of Digital music is still too high...fortunately the trend for that has dropped. As for the Walled garden thing...I am not really sure how it is related; The FSF protected Apple users from Apple!? allowing jailbreak to be legal again. Ironically with Facebook although I find the claim somewhat astonishing (for business reasons; you can only sell data once)...is your private data is being sold to anyone with cash...your *private life* is the product. The difference between the two is enormous.

What is even more scary about social networks including Googles is individuals can be tracked without ever signing up to Facebook, If they cannot figure out my name; address; partners; friends; social occasions; jobs; sexual preference; lifestyle choices from the text; pictures and videos that I have without ever signing up to facebook...they will.
