Using mass media to educate the masses is an idea that I find truly horrifying. Orwellian nightmare. Humans have a right to be ignorant.
It's easy to see how the slippery slop argument might go here. If people are educated by a single source, they all do things the same way, lack of individualism and inoovation etc. etc.
Also, there are several studies that indicate both maternal and paternal age effects the IQ of the child. They seem to indicate either physiological or social and psychological factors as the parent suggests.

"Over the last 10 years, DSL and cable modem has upped its speed (although in some instances only slightly) and dropped its price."
I pay $46 for 7megs. When I first got cable it was thirty. If i want a price reduction, I have to buy TV programming or get the "budget" internet at like 1.5 megs for 25 bucks.
Alot of CIO's aren't seen as trustworthy by other management staff. The fact that they control such a vital part of the business that others know nothing about is frightening. Also they tend to be blamed for others' lack of technological knowledge. People think their IT departments are poorly managed.

On the other hand, the fact that we have such ability suggests that it was in his plan all along, who are we to interpret his will anyway?
"If anyone can give actual provable examples of the US government abridging Constitutionally protected free speech, I'd love to hear it."
-- In 1982 the sanate passed the "Intelligence Identities Protection Act" which was met with criticism from journalists and news organizations. The bill is a clear violation of the first ammendment. The whole quota system is inherently flawed. Just like speeding tickets, it's a means of revenue. A means of hassling the average american.
