I say good riddance to the headphone jack. Lightning to headphone adapters are inexpensive. Okay, maybe you can't use your wired headphones while charging your phone, but honestly how often is that necessary? I could be wrong, but I would imagine there is some kind of hub for this.
And a tactile home button? I honestly don't see the point. They should have ditched this long ago. Using a virtual button that appears on the screen when you need it would allow for a screen that covers more of the face of the phone.
I do agree with you about the wireless charging though.
Other manufacturers were similar. At one time Volvo used a naming convention where the first digit identified the series, the second the number of cylinders and the third the number of doors (e.g. 242 = 4 cyl, 2 door) . Ferrari used the total engine displacement as the first two digits and the number of cylinders as the third (e.g. 308=3.0L, 8 cyl), but complicated things by using the displacement of a single cylinder for 12cyl cars.
This varies widely based on state, district and grade level. My wife is an elementary school teacher and usually has 4-6 weeks free in the summer plus some time during fall/winter/spring breaks. During the school year she generally works 45-50 hours/week.
Your numbers seem a bit high. This source reports the average commute is about half that distance.

If the average commute commute really is 30+ miles each way then it is time to move.
I had a similar experience. When the company I work for merged with a competitor we switched from Outlook to Notes. My understanding is this was due to the huge number of Domino applications (4K+) that were in use at the other company.
Three years later the whole company is in the middle of a year long project to migrated (back) to Outlook.
If you thought Notes sucked on its own you should try it out in a mixed environment where you can only use certain features in Notes and others in Outlook. Its the worst of both worlds!
Duct, Electrical, Masking or Transparent? Worm, I believe. Though getting them to form all the ones and zeros can take some training and the majority of your data may expire if removed from its climate controlled environment.
Perhaps they just haven't worked all the kinks out of the period key yet. Seeing as I paid $19.74 for my last keyboard (and it came with a mouse) $15.64 seems quite reasonable.
<sarcasm> Well at least this new source of revenue will finally allow Comcast to lower their rates. Come on people think of the savings the rest of us will soon enjoy! </sarcasm>
I'm sorry, but that sounds downright unethical. Obviously the "right" thing to do is to send any surplus power you get from your neighbors back to the power company via your own meter.
Let's see... how big of a check would you like to receive from the power company this month?
Obviously these are preferred because they don't tip off the bad guy when you have him in your sights.
I mean every bad ass villainous mofo knows that when you see a red dot on your chest its game over time, but a blue dot? They're like "Whoa! What the heck is this blue dot thing? I'm gonna put down my piece so I can get a better look at this blue dot action going on. Maybe if I move closer to the window..."
You guys are being way too harsh. The fact that the company did a 360 rather than the more covert left-two rights-and a-pair-of-left-hand-45s speaks for itself. If only it could have been the famous left-about face-left instead. Then I would have been really impressed.
Obviously the thing to do is to incorporate the voting system into the ATMs. Who wants to trudge down to their assigned church/school/community center when they can just stop by one of thousands of convenient locations waiting to serve them? If this happened then my lifelong dream of being able to purchase calling cards, stamps, check my account balance, cast my vote and learn key phrases in a second language all in one place could finally be realized. And best of all I get a nice printed receipt showing my selections. Perhaps something like this: Deposit to Acct 1 $500.00
Purchase Stamps 20 @ $0.39 $ 7.80
Purchase Congressman 2.5% ownership -$25,000.00
Current Balance -$24,507.80
Thank you. Your account balance is between $x and $y -- Your vote for
all Democrat/Republican/Libertarian candidates has automatically been cast.
Or maybe they could take advantage to that built in video camera in the voting process and make the logic a bit more sophisticated:
You have a goatee. Your vote for all Socialist party candidates has been cast.
There is an upside-down M sticker on the back of your Lincoln Towncar. Your vote for all Republican party candidates has been cast.
You are wearing a t-shirt with a comic slogan and recently made a purchase from "MMORPG_Gold_4_Less.com" please return to reading Slashdot.
The only downside would be that $1.50 fee for voting outside one's district.
Why not make it into a game and entice friendly/bored/unemployed folks on the internet into handling your shopping for you. I can see it now.
"Don't let the food in the fridge run out or Bibendum will get very grumpy..." "Tisk-tisk, too many fatty foods -- time to order some leafy greens." "Oh-No! Scurvy! Bibendum is feeling ill."
No, no. I believe they mean like my Nexus 5 has had since 2013.

Thank you, thank you. I'll be here all week.

The reclusive Howard Hughes has finally been found.

But how will it compare with the Wii?

Bring back Clever Hans. He could tell us who won. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clever_Hans
Think of who your readers are. It just proves we have nothing to fear.
Yes. Unfortunately according to the calendar in my preview version of Vista the OS won't be available to retailers until 2/30/2007.

Yeah, but then there is the laborious task of having to actually feed the pet. Oh, wait. http://dogtreat.boberhart.com/

Besides you should use his full name, T-bone, or else we won't know who you are talking about.
