While I enjoy freely available and searchable lyrics, I must admit 9 out of 10 times I regretted having looked up the lyrics, it kinda ruins my feeling once I understand every single word and can sing-a-long. Am I the only one having this kind of 'empty-yet-lyric-filled' feeling?
Nah, I wouldn't say you're the only one. I, too, hate looking up the lyrics to something only to realize they're just as inane as I thought them to be originally.

Quite generally, it is in most company and computer policies today that when a member of the information systems resigns the rights are immediately revoked. In the last company I worked for as a SysAdmin, our policy explicitly noted this practice that each employee signed upon any grant of access or additional access. So I would say that the way you were treated would be inline with the national standard. There are too many liabilities for companies these days. From financial, HR, storage, confidential and other busienss systems, there is too much potential for someone to be malicious -- particularly if the employee who is leaving is leaving under the guise of dissatisfaction.
Moreover... There is one closing in 1m with 16 bids, $1,125.00. Oh, yeah, and $80.00 shipping. Cheap bastards could at least "throw in" the shipping for the price. Woo Woo. Another for the low "Buy It Now" price of $2,200.00 and dang, look, Free Shipping. How generous!
I sure as hell wouldn't want to pay these prices for them to be buggy as we're starting to see now.
Sure, I'd like a X360 to play the new games, but I can wait... With the price point as it is on Ebay where none of them are under $660.00, this attributes more blame to the plague on society the holiday shopping season is.
That's not exactly true. The trend the last few months has been initiated to add music to magazines using a small device that embeds into the actual page. You turn the page and a commercial starts blaring from it. I was in a Doctor's office thumbing through a Rolling Stone magazine and the "My name is Earl" TV commercial audio starting playing.

I would say take the money and run, quietly.
Xserv
More shows to watch on a screen the size of a vanilla wafer. It could at least be as tasty... *grumbles*
I thought MS held the patent to this...
Along with all the colors of the rainbow.
Hmm. I think he should worry more about liking the sheep... Avoid the cliffs -- unless you like that sorta thing. :X

Bah, Humbug!
I knew it was only a matter of time before someone else tossed this up there.

It has begun.
