I nominate this dude for the worst job in the world - the guy that replies 'yes' to verizon's (tm) 'can you hear me now?' movie url - http://www.compfused.com/directlink/950
Internap is by far one of the best hosts out there, and I believe they are expanding their facilities to keep up with demand. Instead of jumping ship, Typepad should have waited for Internap's capability to provide more space/power... If they could not wait, then they should have brought up a few boxes at temporary locations until they could move them back to Internap. Anyone with experience with Internap already knows that they are probably the best of the best...
Talk about stating the obvious... have you never tried to compile an app written by Sun before? The bloat just slaps you in the face repeatedly until you submit
go-mono.com is down from here at the moment, but that's where you can typically find GTK# -- http://go-mono.com/ -> downloads -> latest sources May I please ask the cinelerra/quicktime4linux/libmpeg3 developers to update their configure/makefile scripts and distribution files they do not include the dependencies... link to their sources elsewhere, but please don't bloat your distfile(s) by including THEIR sources as well... bad form:(
at the top of the pyramid - you have your mx servers/clusters... slap on your postfix+amavisd there to filter unwanted crap or cluster some barracudas... those would pass the wanted email to your routing servers/cluster at the middle of the pyramid. Then those would pass the email off to the pop3/imap servers (maybe one for each dept) at the bottom of the pyramid - enterprise-grade, connected to fibre-channel san... Open source should do the trick if you have the $ to buy the hardware needed but not the software - I hear communigate pro (sp?) is nice if you are looking for something commercial. google for postfix or qmail for some nice howto's on the free stuff...
Even though there have been seemingly thousands of 'Need for Speed (tm)' titles, I always find myself coming back for more. Somehow, they keep adding features and making great improvements to the game engine. Although I'm a car nut and may not 'fit the mold' of your typical WoW player - i myself stear clear of games that require hours of investment, as I have a girlfriend and she would be f*cking pissed... so no WoW for me:(
Wow... Thank you, Captain Obvious... so do you think Bush is doing a fabulous job? Of course I understand said delay, and I also understand that we will slowly be pulling ourselves from this hole for many years (possibly decades) to come, thanks to the current administration.
There is too much traffic to bother with cruise control... ok, yeah, if it's driving for me, that's nice... but the car needs to automatically report illegal aliens that drive the speed limit in fear of being deported... also their hooptie's break down every other mile. I don't think we need more freeway lanes, we just need less illegal aliens causing traffic. Maybe we should implement a 'Freeway License' that would require you to own a valid Drivers License and pass a freeway driving test before being able to drive on the 405... Oh, and make rush hour construction illegal - Los Angeles did it, finally!
Have you noticed any decrease in the amount of spam since a few of the hardcore spammers have finally been prosecuted? I always wonder if scare tactics will work against these guys, or if they will just move their colo to some small country offshore where it becomes harder to press charges.
You guys need to stop posting these release announcements before the release page AND the download are in sync...

amen brother... xml is a waste of bandwidth, imo
wow, that's bad form - the source even extracts to ./OOo_2.0.0rc3_src ... weak
