This is actually why we should fear goverment run health car. It creates a great incentive to find affordable whys to get rid of the older and sicker peopl
Do I smell a troll? Anyway, I'll bite. How exactly does having government run health care create such an incentive (any more than the current system)? Now, I will admit to not knowing the specifics of how it's proposed to be done in the US, but in France the government pays 70% of the (government set) standard price. If you get a more expensive treatment you cover the difference yourself, or get additional coverage from a private insurance. In Denmark (and several other countries, like the UK) the government pays 100%, and private health insurance is practically unheard of. So, if I were a doctor I would make sure to have as many patients as possible, so as to get as much out of the system as possible. And, let's face it, young people generally make for poor patients.
Perhaps you should read the timeline again; he hasn't actually sued yet. He is preparing to do so, but that's hardly the same thing. And who knows, perhaps that's exactly the bit of prodding needed to get Viasat to take him seriously.
Uhm, this guy here seems to not quite agree with you:
The game handles large amounts of players honorably, capable of displaying some 20-30 characters on screen all wearing different custom made armor and weapons without the slightest notice of slowdown.
That's not to say that there aren't (and won't be) any performance problems, but you have to remember that they only just started the beta phase, so things are bound to change.
In case you haven't heard of it: http://www.mortalonline.com/ Mind you, it's going to be a hardcore sandbox MMO (think Ultima Online), so it's certainly not for everyone.
I have the same problem, but only when I get to the discussion from the rss feed. If I go through the front page there are no problems. Oh, and logging in from the discussion page gives an error saying that something don't exist. I use the classic discussion format, btw. It seems that what happens is that the new and old formats gets mixed together.
Hardly as interesting, but when I was in the army I had to look up something on the map for my sergeant. I look down at the map and next thing I know is that he taps me on the shoulder and asks me if I had fallen asleep:)
More like don't want to. Here in France I pay EUR 30/month (USD 39) for 18/1mbit internet + 150 tv channels + free telephone (domestic and most international landline calls are free, cellphones cost a bit), and TWC can't compete with $99 and a service that don't offer nearly what I pay EUR 30 for? Please, give me a break. And when fibre gets rolled out it'll be the same price, only faster (100/50). Oh, and they do make money on that, here in France. http://www.free.fr/adsl/
Ouch! I pay EUR 30/month, and for that I get whatever my line can handle (18/1 in my case) and no limits what so ever. Plus free landline phone (including international calls) and a decently large iptv package. http://www.free.fr/adsl/
Instead of wasting your time here, I suggest you go to Head-Fi and ask there. While there are definitely some nutcases, I think you'll find that most head-philes are a good deal more "grounded" than your average audiophile and will give you some good advice that don't involve too much magic pixie-dust.
Hover mouse over offending entry, click on "Hide".

Actually you can:

Simply untick all the boxes there.

First, it's not Ogg/Vorbis but Ogg Vorbis. Second, Vorbis is the audio codec whereas (Ogg) Theora is the video codec.
Sure, it can be done, but it's not very logical.

Actually the trackpoint can act (and does so by default) as a button, although usually it needs a fairly decent 'tap' to work.
Does the same to me, but only if I go through the RSS feed.
I have it set to classic index and discussion.

It's really annoying, and what is messed up seems to change all the time.
Cool and all, but is he prepared for The End?

I've had good luck with TestDisk
Eh, Offtopic? Seems like there are some mods that need to learn the meaning of that word.
Offtopic != Disagree

Hmm, let's see:
MySpace arriving: -20%
GeoCities leaving: +10%
A net loss, but still an improvement when talking right now.
Sounds like a heat pump might be a good investment for you.
Wow, that's a fair difference. Where did you get those numbers?

You know, when berating others for their spelling you should really pay some attention to your own:
"would of seen" should be "should have seen".
According to this interview: "We're not quite at the place where we'd hoped to be four months after launch, but we're close." Whatever that means.
Eh, that doesn't make any sense. WAR is arguably the best PvP MMO out right now, unless you want free-for-all.
