"What people believe is a subject for an anthropology class, not a science class."
Come on, you know just as well as I do that grade school classes are much broader than high school or university classes. If a teacher mentions that some believe God designed man, he shouldn't get raked over the coals by people like the/. community.
The sad part is, the honest teachers that make one small comment here or there are the ones who get in trouble, while the ones preaching Neo-Con or Anti-religious propaganda get by.
Looks like you proved the article made unfounded guesses. Then you make some of your own.
Just because some of what the author said was wrong doesn't invalidate the entire article. Service-only businesses are extremely volatile, and he was right when he said clients often like one-stop-shops to reduce costs.
If you hadn't lied in the interview and pretended that your values were identical to the employers, you wouldn't be in that situation.
Honesty and respect are two-way streets.
Interestingly enough. In my experience as a Finance guy (and a nerd), I find that the IT guys who actually take the time to dress appropriately are also the guys who spend the time to put together a coherent, well organized presentation.
What do these presentations do? These presentations explain to me exactly how I can cut costs in business units and what steps I can take to cut down on the amount of needless work IT needs to do. These ones are the most successful. Sometimes, explaining the message so I can understand it is way more important than working an extra 1/2 hour.
Maybe thats why IT guys hate all the "suits"? Because they've mastered a skill set some nerds can't? After all, you can't believe that every single person who doesn't understand IT is a PHB, right?
So... by your logic, the reviewer should score it a 0. Because on a scale from now to infinity, this game pales in comparison to games that will be released in 2195.
Generally, "10" games are reserved for once a year or once a console type games that everyone MUST own.
Examples of previous "10" games: Chaos Theory and God of War.
And yes, God of War soooo deserved a 10.
No Halo 3. Gears of War (best looking 360 game) is pushed back to spring 2006. PDZ is just okay. PGR3 is just another racing game, even if it's done really really well. Oblivion's pushed back past Xmas.
All the games people want aren't arriving until spring, so you get the "meh".
They work with the studios. If they call the people who give them access to games before release, they upset their "vendors". Pissing off your vendors is bad business.
As soon as cell phones can catch up in processing speed to run the latest Windows OS... which will never happen. Windows req's always go up faster than cell phones will be able to catch up.
And don't give me that "all most people need is email word and excel". Documents To Go can do that easily, yet I don't see any Palm or PocketPC users using them as their primary computer.
News At 10... behaving poorly at work can get you fired!!! We must fight for our right to get paid to think of rude, yet clever insults of our fellow coworkers!

They always run into problems. And it's always because there are identical twins. Could the twins thing be anymore played out on CSI?
