    That is impossible by definition ... Do you have any idea what the "dismal" science is? It studies scarcity and resource allocation and other things... You giving up eating? The point is if you go live in a cave and forage for your food that is a economic choice.

    To say evolution is a theory is one thing (which is wrong in my opinon).. to say its wrong and creationism is right is not taught in one public school... it is against the law!

    Most software I have used does not live up to it's hype... but are protected by thier ULAS does this mean that there could be an opening to challange software that doesnt live up to the hype. IANAL so I couldn't say.

    Well for some acedemics, real lit is supposed to be unreadable dribble that post-moderniss and the modernists before them put out. If all modern novels were of the ilk that some in the acedemy read and consider highbrow I would read more comics for sure.

    If I was writing a book on how i would get congress to do something... I would get together(in the book) 20 or 30 hacktavists who were willing to go to jail to steal the identities of the entire US Senate and maybe some house memebers too. Lets see how fast the laws would change (in my books world). Any suggestions on a possible ending to this book.

    I have heard this argument used for why age discrimination happens in IT. But I have found in lower waged jobs quite the opposite is true. If you are older, have a family, losing your job could be catastrophic so family men(women) are trapped. So they work harder and more hours to keep their jobs ...basically they tow the line. I personally saw this in the NAVY were they knew the young guy with the family would be the ones to re-enlist because they needed the security of knowing they had a job.

    I had a friend who on his way to the interview got into a car accident. He had a concussion. This was his second interview and had decided to go to it anyway. Needless to say, he didn't get the job. I asked him what the hell he was thinking why didn't he call them and tell them what happened. He said well really I wasn't thinking very well.

    I would have the old preceedure. What if the camera missed something. With video and a doctor I think you would have a better chance. Though 50 thousand pics is alot. Im not a doctor but maybe 50,000 is enough to look for what ever there looking for. Still better safe than sorry.

    Not always true, brute force times out after 8 seconds on most div 1 problems.. so alot of DP and depth first searches with huertics.

    Why not say who and where this guy/gal is?

    Sounds like second hand knowledge and makes me question the rest of the article. I mean I could go out and find disgruntled workers in any field.

    Though it's probably overall true... And to be fair most of the article quotes numbers from IEEE and other sources i still would have liked more objective references to end the article.

    In my fire control "A" school I was taught about this phenom in our class on waveguide propagation theory... read the article people...no laws broken... and I learned this 15 years ago...
